College Financial Aid Workshop

Get Help with FAFSA October 17
Posted on 10/12/2017
Minnesota College GoalSimley High School, in collaboration with Minnesota College Goal, is pleased to offer a free financial aid workshop on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, from 5:30 PM-7:30 PM. This workshop is for students who plan to attend any post-secondary institution next year.

Any student seeking state or federal financial aid (including loans and grants) is required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This workshop is designed to help students and families complete the FAFSA by providing FREE professional support. There will be financial aid officers from St. Paul College and Inver Hills Community College at the event to answer questions, provide guidance, and help complete the FAFSA. Please note, students do not need to be planning to attend either of these colleges to attend this event and receive this support.

The FAFSA usually takes around an hour to complete. Please arrive early to allow enough time to complete the FAFSA and receive financial aid information. See the flyer for a list of materials to bring with you to the workshop. In addition, student workshop participants are eligible to be entered into a drawing for a $500 award for the post-secondary institution of their choice.
