Dan Lemke Takes Over Behavior Specialist Role

IGHMS Behavior Specialist, Dan LemkeAs Jessica Hallin steps into her new position as Hilltop Elementary School’s assistant principal, Inver Grove Heights Middle School welcomes Dan Lemke as its behavior specialist. Mr. Lemke has been part of the Inver Grove Heights Middle School and Simley High School staff for six years as an AVID coordinator, AVID elective teacher, and Promise Fellow supervisor. He earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from Concordia University and is currently earning a designation as an educational specialist with a K-12 principal license from Concordia as well.

During his time as an AVID coordinator and teacher, Mr. Lemke has mentored students and prepared them for success in high school and after graduation. His position as the middle school’s behavior specialist will allow him to support all students and work with staff to provide the best whole-student development.
