The years between 2006 and 2016 have seen tremendous activity in terms of capital improvements and expansion for district facilities. We built a new middle school and new additions onto Simley High School, Salem Hills Elementary, and Hilltop Elementary for a total of nearly 160,000 square feet of new interior space. All buildings have been remodeled as well, and received major upgrades or replacements to heating, ventilating, and cooling systems, which has improved the indoor learning and working environment. During all of this activity, the Buildings & Grounds team has kept up with cleaning and maintenance, despite the challenges that such construction creates. Our staff is dedicated to maintaining district buildings and grounds to provide the best opportunities to students and our community.
