Hilltop students look at Native American artifactsHilltop Elementary School held its second annual International Night this March. During the first part of the night, families learned about the seven continents through artifacts and activities. Students learned how blubber keeps people warm in Antarctica, tried origami in Asia, and made dream catchers in North America. Families also sampled foods from all over the world during the event’s potluck. After dinner and activities, attendees enjoyed cultural performances by Hilltop students and families.

Thank you to the families and staff members who brought in artifacts, shared cultural dishes at the potluck, volunteered to perform, and dressed in cultural attire to help Hilltop students learn more about people around the world.
