Reminder- Student Orientation is tomorrow, August 24, 2017
Sixth-grade student orientation will be held from
7:30 – 10:30 a.m. Sixth-grade parents and students should report to Cahill Court for a presentation by our staff, distribution of students’ class schedules, locker assignments, lunch numbers, athletic sign up, and pictures. Sixth-grade students may return with their parents from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. for an opportunity to “walk through” their schedules and practice locker combinations.
Last names beginning with:
A-G 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.
H-M 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
N-Z 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
Seventh-grade student orientation will be held from 10:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Seventh-grade parents and students should report to Cahill Court for schedules, locker assignments, lunch numbers, pictures, athletic sign up and immunization record turn in.
Last names beginning with:
A-G 10:45 – 11:30 a.m.
H-M 11:30 – 12:15 p.m.
N-Z 12:15 – 1:00 p.m.
Seventh-grade Parents please note: All seventh-grade students will be required to have proof of a second mumps, measles and rubella immunization, as well as the Hepatitis B series, before receiving their schedules.
Please note: The cafeteria will be closed from
1:00-1:45 PM. All staff will be at lunch.
Eighth-Grade student orientation will be held from
1:45 – 3:15 p.m. Eighth-grade parents and students should report to Cahill Court for schedules, locker assignments, lunch numbers, pictures, and athletic sign up.

A-G 1:45 – 2:15 p.m.
H-M 2:15 – 2:45 p.m.
N-Z 2:45 – 3:15 p.m.

Theater News
CALLING ALL ACTORS!
Auditions for the Fall Play, A Midsummer Night's Dream will be on September 6 and 7, 2017 (sign up at Middle School Office or in front of the Performing Arts Center for either Wednesdayor Thursday, not both days) from 2:30 - 5:00pm in the Performing Arts Center
Auditions will be “cold readings” from scenes from the play in various combinations.You do not need to have anything prepared.
Callbacks, if necessary, will be on Friday, September 8 from 2:30 - 5:00pm. and the first cast meeting will be Wednesday, September 13th, 2:30 - 5:00pm.
Additional Information:
This classic comedy, rich in eloquent language as well as visual spectacle, includes a myriad of characters, from the buffoonery of Bottom to the beauty of Titania, from the teenage lovers chasing each other through the woods, to the mischievous Puck and his/her team of dancing fairies. There are both small parts and larger parts, open to both Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers. There are also non-speaking opportunities to dance!
