The Simley girls basketball team had a heartbreaking loss in the section finals against Holy Angels. The girls did everything that was asked of them: played great defense holding them to a season low 41 points and picked them apart on offense with their passing. Unfortunately the Spartans did not shoot very well and needed one more bucket to go in. The final score was 40-41.

The girls can be proud of how they represented Simley and finishing the season on a great note against a team that was ranked #2 in the state. Simley was lead by Tiwaah Danso and Sydney Stensgard with 14 and 11 points.

The players and coaches want to thank the band for attending and making the environment such a fun atmosphere and they would like to thank all the fans for their support.
