ATTENTION SENIORS: If you purchased a Senior panoramic picture, it is available for pick up in the guidance office. There are a few extra copies available to purchase for $17 each. Please see Ms. Wang.




Speech Team is back at Simley!!  If you are interested in joining the Speech team, there is a meeting on Thursday, 11/15 at 2:45 p.m. in Mr. Dorfner’s room MS8101.  If you have any questions or can’t make it to the meeting, please contact Mr. Dorfner at [email protected].



Attention All Cross Country runners -  the Season Banquet will be next Wednesday, Nov. 14th at 6:30 in the Spartan Center.  Please RSVP to Coach Gerber with the number of guests accompanying you if you have not done so already.


Reminder for all Cross Country Juniors, Seniors, and Captains there is a meeting with Coach Gerber after school in his room, WA216 to discuss the banquet.  



Congratulations to the Simley Girls Swim Team on their Amazing Night at Sections Prelims held in Rochester last night.  There were Many Personal Best Times achieved during this Fast Meet!

Simley Girls High School Bowling Club:  If you are interested in bowling for the Simley Girls High School Bowling Club,  the Girls 2019 season will begin in January. Any level of bowler is welcome. Please contact Gary Salzman (coach) at [email protected]   for more information.  Practices will start mid-December.




Attention German Club Members - There is a German Club Meeting on Friday, November 9th at 7:15 a.m. in Mr. Mitchell’s room.

Simley Theatre Presents: The Government Inspector  

When the locals in a small Russian hamlet learn that an undercover government inspector is coming for a surprise visit, an unfortunate case of mistaken identity sends the whole village spiraling into a world of panic and greed. Witty, smart and wildly satirical, this classic play exposes the corruption of a provincial town with biting hilarity.

REMINDER - Alpine Ski, Nordic Ski, Gymnastics, Boys Hockey & Girls Basketball start on Monday, November 12th. Make sure you are registered & ready to start practice on Monday. If you have registration questions, stop by the Activities office.

Band Fundraiser - The band will be selling Butter Braid Pastries to raise money to go on their Florida Band trip in October 2019. Find a band student that will be going on the trip or contact Missy at [email protected] to order, all orders including payment MUST be turned in Friday, November 16th with absolute last turn in Monday November 19th. Delivery to students will be December 7th from 2:30pm-4:30pm.

Cross Country Running Reminder: End of Season Banquet will be Wednesday, Nov. 14th from 6:30 to about 8:00-8:30 in the Spartan Center at Simley.  Pizza and pasta dinner will be provided by the booster club from Red Savoy's for all runners.  There is a suggested $10 donation for all guests.




The Simley Football banquet will be held on November 18 at 11am at Southview Country Club for JV/Varsity players. Cost is $21 per person. Senior players are free. Please RSVP player name and number attending to Sarah Zaiser at [email protected] by November 12.

PHOTOS SHOULD BE SENT TO THE YEARBOOK’S EMAIL  [email protected]    THESE ARE DUE NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 1ST.  IF YOU DID NOT PICK UP A YELLOW SHEET CONTAINING THE SURVEY WEBSITE AND SENIOR PHOTO REQUIREMENTS, PLEASE PICK IT UP IN THE GUIDANCE OFFICE. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, EMAIL YEARBOOK OR CONTACT MS. HENSCH IN ROOM WA209.  



The Maintenance department is hiring after school student custodians. The hours are from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. and will be 3-4 days per week. If you are interested, please talk to Chuck Wick in the cafeteria during all lunches.


 


Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
