SIMLEY ALL NIGHT PARTY: The All Night Party is looking for a parent to collect admissions for the All Night Party on Friday, June 2nd at 8-10am. If you are interesting please email Colleen Thomas at [email protected] .


LOST AND NEEDS TO BE FOUND- Students who have lost items please come check the lost and found in the dean's office. Items include retainers, glasses, jackets, etc. All items will be donated or thrown away Monday, June 5th, 2017.


SENIORS: You will be picking up your Graduation Tickets on June 2nd along with your Cap and Gown. All students will be receiving 8 tickets. If you need more, please see Ms. Sievert in the Main Office.


Attention German Club Members - There is a German Club meeting at 7:25 a.m. on Friday, June 2 at 7:25 a.m. in Mr. Mitchell’s room.


Attention Student Council & International Club Members - There will be a Student Council and International Club field trip to Valleyfair on Monday, June 12. Make sure to get your field trip permission form into Ms. Ney by Friday, June 2. The cost of the field trip is $20.


Attention Simley Theatre members! Remember to RSVP and vote online by Wednesday, May 31st using the link provided to you on your invitation. The banquet is on Wednesday, June 14th, at Simley's Performing Arts Center.


Attention all girls that are planning to play high school tennis (JV/Varsity) in the fall There is a meeting with Coach Tretsven at 2:45 p.m. TODAY, Wednesday, 5/31 in the Simley Spartan Center to talk about Summer Tennis opportunities and the Fall 2017 season.


SIMLEY BOYS AND GIRLS SOCCER PLAYERS

All boys and girls soccer players going into 8th grade through 12th grade are invited to attend the Simley Summer Soccer Camps with Coach Dayus and Coach Delos Santos. The boys camp runs June 19-21, from 8:30-10:30 am. The girls camp runs June 26-29 from 9:00-11:00. Cost is $60 for the boys camp and $80 for the girls camp. Registration can be found online at simleysoccer.com. If you prefer to mail in a camp registration form, the forms can also be found online.


The class of 2017 is invited to the ALL NIGHT PARTY on Friday, June 9th.  The party is a great event for graduating seniors!  The doors to the party will open at 10:00 PM and all those who plan to attend must be there by 10:30 PM!  The party will end at approximately 4:00 AM.  The night is filled with lots of fun:  henna tattoos, palm readers, casino games, free food and much much more!

$40 Admission charge will be collected during the lunch periods TODAY, Wednesday, May 31st and Thursday, June 1st .

OR:  MAIL YOUR PAYMENTS THIS WEEK NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, JUNE 2ND with photos & T-shirt size to:

Each student should also bring in a photo from elementary school days approximate size 3 X 5, please label the photo with your student's first and last name.  Photos can be retrieved at the end of the party, but not guaranteed to be returned.


The deadline to turn in your application for the summer road trip has been extended to this Thursday, June 1st. Join us for 1, 2, 3, or all 4 days as we road trip to local college campuses. This is an excellent opportunity and it’s free to participate! Applications can be picked up in the Career Center or Counseling office. See Ms. Kimble with questions.


Attention all students and athletes!  All physical education and athletic lockers must be cleaned out by FRIDAY, June 2nd!  Any items left in the locker room after this date will be donated.  Thank you for cleaning out your lockers!



YEARBOOKS - If you have not picked up your yearbook yet, stop by Mr. Mandell's room as soon as possible. There are still extras available for $90.

Attention Parents - If you are calling in to report an absence and would like to go directly to the Attendance line, please call 651-306-7010.  



All medication in the health office will be sent home on Thursday, June 1 and Friday June 2 with students.  If you do not want the medication sent home with your child, please call the nurse directly at 651.306.7014 or email at [email protected]  so that other arrangements can be made.  Please note, if your child has a doctor prescribed medication at school you will receive a phone call to make arrangements for pickup.

If you have artwork that was displayed in the art show, stop by the Art room before the end of the year to pick up.


If you were unable to make it to the Student Recognition Ceremony last Wednesday, you can pick-up your awards in the Main Office.


If you are interested in attending a summer gymnastics camp, there are flyers in the athletic office and with Mrs. Walsh.  Please contact Mrs. Walsh with questions.



Driver Education Classroom and Behind the Wheel

Grades 9-12

Our Driver Education program is taught by certified licensed instructors. The state of Minnesota requires anyone under the age of 18 wishing to obtain a MN Driver's License to complete an approved course in driver education. This course must include a minimum of 30 hours of classroom instruction and six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction.

Simley All-Night Party Graduation Party 2017….Is just days away!

We still need Volunteers!  

  • Set-up on Thursday night June 8th sign up and come for an hour or stay all night.

  • Friday night June 9th, we need security people, casino workers, athletic games work.

This party can not happen without volunteers. Parents, Teachers, Coaches, Community members - ALL are welcome.

Are you interested in becoming a better athlete? Do you want to get stronger, faster, jump higher and have more agility? The summer Spartan Trained program is for you. This program is for male and female athletes entering grades 7-12. The program starts June 12 and will run through August 11th. The program meets 5 days a week the entire summer.  Athletes who complete the program will receive a t-shirt at the end of the year. Students who meet the requirements can also letter in strength training. The cost of the program is $100.  The family max for fees is not applicable to the Summer programs.

High school boys will train from 7:00-8:15 A.M.

High School Girls will train from 8:30-9:45 A.M.

All middle school students will train from 10:00-11:15 A.M.

Simley Co-Ed High School Bowling Club:  Do you have a son or daughter in 7th through 12th grade that is interested in bowling for the Simley Co-Ed High School Bowling Club?  Any level of bowler is welcome.  Practices will begin mid-August.  If interested, please contact Gary Salzman (coach) at [email protected]  for more information.  


Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
