Congratulations to the Girls Soccer team for 3-0 win over Visitation last night! The team has advanced in the section tournament and will take on Visitation tomorrow at 4 p.m. at Visitation High School, 2455 Visitation Drive, Mendota Heights, MN 55120

 

The Simley Girls Swim and Dive dominated at last night's meet against North St. Paul.  In many races, there was a clean sweep of placing 1st, 2nd & 3rd.  They also showed their versatility in swimming different events.  The Spartans exhibitioned the last 4 events to win with a score of 94 - 68.

Interested in Cross Country skiing? There will be a Nordic Ski meeting on Tues. Oct. 17th at 2:40pm. in Coach Sedler's room (WA 111). Check in with Coach Sedler ([email protected]) or Coach Anderson ([email protected]) if you aren't able to make the meeting.

 

 

Want to help your peers academically? Become a peer tutor today! You pick the hour and days, you get a partial credit, and can also count the hours you tutor as volunteer hours all while helping your fellow student! See Ms. Kimble for more information and to get started!

 

The College Knowledge Fact of the Day: 29,790 students applied to Yale last year for only 1,972 spots. The enrollment at all 8 of the Ivy League schools make up only .4% of the college-going population!

Interested in joining the 2017-2018 Simley Dance Team?  Winter Competitive Team tryout practices will take place on Monday, October 23rd and Tuesday, October 24th from 4:00-5:00pm & 5:15-6:15pm. Tryouts and team announcements will take place on Tuesday, October 24th after practice from 6:30-7:30pm.  If you are currently in grades 7-12, you are welcome to tryout.  See the signs posted around school for more details. Attention Seniors!

If you have not had your senior pictures taken yet, make sure you schedule your photo shoot soon! You have until December 1st to submit your Senior Portrait, turn in your baby picture, and complete the Senior Yearbook Survey.

Student Parking Lot- Only students with a Simley parking pass are allowed to park in the student lot. If you do not have a pass, you must park off campus. Students found parked in the lot with a pass may be ticketed, booted etc. See Ms. Sievert in the main office if you have questions.


Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
