Attention Seniors:  Each of you must complete a graduation survey.  A link to the survey can be found on Simley's homepage.  The survey allows us to track your post-high school plans as well as authorizes the release of your final transcript.  Please complete this as soon as possible. Final deadline is Friday, May 18.

 

 

The Simley athletic department will be recognizing all senior athletes that will be playing college sports at any level on Wednesday, May 16 at the Simley Recognition Program. If you will be playing a sport at any level in college please come down to the athletic office and check in with Mr. Short or Mrs Madigan by Friday, May 4. If you do not check in at the activities office you will not be recognized.

 

 

Reminder - Lifetouch will be here today to take Boys Tennis & Boys lacrosse Team Pictures after school on Tuesday, 5/1.  Stop by the Activities office if you need an order form.

 

 

 

Students going to Festival of Nations on Thursday, May 3rd with German Club, International Club and Spanish Club should leave 1st hour at 8:25 to meet at the front doors by 8:30.

 

 

There will be no Student Council meeting tomorrow. Meetings will resume Tuesday, May 22 and additionally we will have an informational meeting for next year's council on Wednesday, May 23 at 7:25 in the Spartan Center.

 

 

Attention Volleyball Players. There will be a volleyball meeting on Wednesday, May 2nd, at 7:30 AM in the Spartan Center. We will discuss summer camps, open gyms, summer league, and the upcoming fall season, which begins this fall on Monday, August 13th.



Senior Parents/Guardians: Newsletter correction ~ The address to mail payments to purchase a ticket for the Senior All Night Party is 3042 96th Street E. If you did not receive a newsletter, they are available in the high school main office or guidance office.

This race is a walk/run with a short route for families. Race day check-in/registration is from 7:30-8:30 a.m. There will be a morning snack, juice and coffee before the race and hot dogs, chips and pop after the race, prepared by American Legion Post 424. There will also be prize drawings. Pre-register to guarantee yourself a t-shirt. Proceeds go to the Inver Grove Heights B.E.S.T Foundation and will be used to grant scholarships to Simley High School students.

Seniors - Your Senior Grad Fee is due!   Payments can be made on Fee Pay or in person to Ms. Sievert in the Main Office.




Student Parking Lot- Only students with a Simley parking pass are allowed to park in the student lot. If you do not have a pass, you must park off campus. Students found parked in the

lot with a pass may be ticketed, booted etc. See Ms. Sievert in the main office if you have questions.



Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
