REMINDER - If the student parking lot is full, you cannot park at Cub Foods or the Public Library. If you park there, you may be towed. You must park on a side street but beware of side street “No Parking” signs.

 

 

Senior Lunch Release - Seniors you must turn in your lunch release forms to Ms. Offermann prior to leaving the building. This is a privilege for seniors ONLY!

 

Attention Seniors -  Please turn in your senior shirt order form and money to Ms. Young-Dahl in the Dean’s office by Friday, Sept. 14th. Make sure the name you select is school appropriate or your last name will be printed.  Remember to fill-out the Google Form so the company can receive your information. If you have questions please see Mrs. Walsh or Ms. Young-Dahl.




Are you interested in German culture, meeting new people, and having fun outside of school? Come and check out German Club. The first meeting will be this Friday morning at 7:10am in Mr. Mitchell's room EA203. The club is open to all students grades 9-12. See you there!

Congrats to the girls Tennis team! Last week the team won 3 matches in a row against Visitation, Hill-murray, and Highland park. Great job ladies and lets keep it up today and tomorrow!!

Congratulations to the girls Soccer team for their 8-1 win over Richfield on Saturday.

 

Show your Spartan spirit by heading to Chipotle to support Simley Soccer on Monday, September 10 from 4 pm to 8 pm. Come in to the Chipotle at 1857 Robert Street in West Saint Paul and bring the flyer, show it on your phone, or tell the cashier you are supporting SIMLEY SOCCER – 33% of the proceeds will then be donated to Simley Soccer.


Attention student leaders in grades 9 through 12, we will be hosting a Student Council informational meeting on Tuesday, September 18 in the Student Center before school at 7:20 a.m. Student Council plans charity events, dances, and activities to build Simley pride. Come share your ideas and have a voice on how to make our school better.

 

 

Attention CURRENT Student Council members and officers, we will meeting TOMORROW, September 11 in Ms. Ney's room at 7:15 a.m. to make posters for the first official meeting on Tuesday, September 18.

 

 

FALL DRIVER EDUCATION SESSIONS STARTING SOON!

Class will begin Monday, September 24th and runs Monday-Thursday till October 10th (10 sessions) after school from 2:45-5:45pm

ACT PREP COURSES

Get prepared for your ACT Test! This class provides an introduction to the ACT format, strategies for answering questions and instruction for the specific subject areas tested. Focal points of the program include diagnostic testing, vocabulary development, intensive mathematical review, reading comprehension improvement, and anxiety and time management.

Students who complete a course may repeat it as often as they wish in future offerings – free of charge. All class materials are included in the tuition fee.

Simley Co-Ed High School Bowling Club

Calling all actors!  Auditions for the Fall Play, The Government Inspector, began Wednesday, September 5th!

When the locals in a small town in Russia learn that an undercover government inspector is coming for a surprise visit, an unfortunate case of mistaken identity sends the village spiraling into a world of panic and greed.

Auditions:

Wednesday, Sept. 5th, 2:30-5pm

Thursday, Sept. 6th, 2:30-5pm

(Sign up for one of the days. Sheet located outside the Performing Arts Center)

Callbacks (if necessary):

Friday, Sept. 7th, 2:30-5pm

Rehearsals begin Sept. 10th after school.

NEW PROCESS FOR ONLINE LUNCH PAYMENTS

The district has changed the lunch payment program to Infinite Campus. Feepay will not be used to pay for lunches.  The Infinite Campus Parent Portal allows parents to pay for student lunches, set low balance alerts and check lunch account balances.  Log in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal and select Payments to put money in the account or select Food Service to manage other settings for the account.

Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
