Attention Seniors - Please turn in your senior shirt order form and money to Ms. Young-Dahl in the Dean’s office by Friday, Sept. 14th. Make sure the name you select is school appropriate or your last name will be printed.  Remember to fill-out the Google Form so the company can receive your information. If you have questions please see Mrs. Walsh or Ms. Young-Dahl.




Attention Juniors & Seniors - If you are interested in being on the Homecoming Committee, there is a meeting TOMORROW, Thursday, September 13th at 7:15 a.m. in Mr. Mensen’s room WA103.




Attention all students in grades 9-12!  Simley Soccer is hosting a Student Appreciation night on Monday, Sept. 17 during a double header where all students get into the game for FREE!  Boys kick off at 5 p.m. and Girls kick off at 7 p.m.  CANES Chicken will be sold at the concessions stand! Come cheer your Simley Soccer teams on and enjoy some Canes!!!




Interested in other cultures and meeting new people? Come to the first International Club meeting on Friday, September 14th at 7:20 a.m. in Ms. Sedler's room (WA111). We will be planning volunteer opportunities, social events, and field trips. All are welcome!




Are you interested in German culture, meeting new people, and having fun outside of school? Come and check out German Club. The first meeting will be this Friday morning at 7:10am in Mr. Mitchell's room EA203. The club is open to all students grades 9-12. See you there!




Congratulations to the Simley Girls Volleyball team for defeating rival South St. Paul in straight sets 25-10, 25-3, 25-14. The Spartans were terrible hosts to the Packers, playing relatively error free volleyball with all 13 players making significant contributions to the win retaining "The Shovel" the annual traveling trophy, which has been in Simley's possession since its inception.




Congratulations to the Girls Soccer team for their 3-0 win over Henry Sibley last night. Claiming their third shutout of the season, the Spartans opened the Metro East Conference play with a 3-0 victory against Henry Sibley. Senior Lexi Reichenbach scored the lone goal in the first half on a pass from junior Emma Raab. Scoring in a seven minute span during the second half was junior Bekkah Scufsa assisted by Reichenbach and senior Natalie Leeder with a strike from 30 yards out.

 
Simley Summer Lax Travel Team 2019   Tryouts:  Saturday Sept. 15th, 3-4:30pm, Simley High School Practice Field(field by student parking lot)  Check-in starts at 2:15 p.m., players should be dressed in full gear and ready to go by 3 p.m. All interested lacrosse players currently in grades 8-11 are welcome and encouraged to attend this FREE tryout event!

Senior Lunch Release - Seniors you must turn in your lunch release forms to Ms. Offermann prior to leaving the building. This is a privilege for seniors ONLY!

 

 

Attention student leaders in grades 9 through 12, we will be hosting a Student Council informational meeting on Tuesday, September 18 in the Student Center before school at 7:20 a.m. Student Council plans charity events, dances, and activities to build Simley pride. Come share your ideas and have a voice on how to make our school better.

 

 

Simley Co-Ed High School Bowling Club

FALL DRIVER EDUCATION SESSIONS STARTING SOON!

Class will begin Monday, September 24th and runs Monday-Thursday till October 10th (10 sessions) after school from 2:45-5:45 p.m.

ACT PREP COURSES

Get prepared for your ACT Test! This class provides an introduction to the ACT format, strategies for answering questions and instruction for the specific subject areas tested. Focal points of the program include diagnostic testing, vocabulary development, intensive mathematical review, reading comprehension improvement, and anxiety and time management. Students who complete a course may repeat it as often as they wish in future offerings – free of charge. All class materials are included in the tuition fee. Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
