Inver Grove Heights Schools Cooperating Teachers are dedicated partners to collaborate with Colleges/Universities to prepare excellent teachers for the future.

Observation:

College student conducts observations in school setting

Field Experience:
College student tutors individuals/small groups and provides assistance as requested in the school setting

One week Practicum:
Practicum - College student provides tutoring, classroom duties, develops and delivers lesson plans with full supervision with ISD 199staff. May include: standards study; lesson planning; feedback; coaching.

*Advanced Practicum/Student Teaching:
Practicum - College student provides tutoring, classroom duties, develops and delivers lesson plans independently. May include: standards study; lesson planning; feedback; coaching.

Student Teaching - Student is responsible for all classroom instruction and management for a required amount of time (supervised by cooperating teacher).
