Thanks to the Seamless Summer Option meal program, Inver Grove Heights Schools is now offering free meals to 199 Online students as of November 15.

Families with children enrolled in 199 Online can stop by a designated cafeteria to pick up a free lunch and bagged breakfast each school day between 10:30-11:00 AM. The lunch will usually follow the school’s menu for that day. However, menus are subject to change. No pre-registration is necessary. Staff will only collect your child’s PIN once you arrive and request a meal.

To pick up a meal for a 199 Online Elementary School student:
  • Visit Hilltop Elementary School, 3201 68th Street East in Inver Grove Heights, between 10:30-11:00 AM, on any school day
  • Come to Door 7 on the south side of the building across from Carleda Avenue East
  • A staff member will be there to collect your child’s PIN and get a meal for you while you wait in the vestibule
  • Parents may pick up a meal for each of their children that is enrolled in 199 Online Elementary School
  • Meals for middle and high school students in 199 Online must be picked up from Cahill Court, Simley High School and IGH Middle School’s cafeteria
To pick up a meal for a 199 Online Middle School or 199 Online High School student:
  • Visit the ISD 199 District Office parking lot, 2990 80th Street East in Inver Grove Heights, between 10:30-11:00 AM, on any school day
  • Walk down the stairs in front of the visitor parking spaces in the district office lot
  • Wait by the Cahill Court door for a staff member to come collect your child’s PIN
  • The staff member will get a meal for you while you wait near the back of the cafeteria
  • Parents may pick up a meal for each of their children that is enrolled in either 199 Online Middle School or 199 Online High School
  • Meals for 199 Online Elementary School students must be picked up from Hilltop Elementary School
Please be aware that meals are created according to the federal nutrition standards for that grade level. 199 Online Elementary School students must pick up their meals from Hilltop Elementary School, and 199 Online Middle School and 199 Online High School students must pick up their meals from Cahill Court.
