College Board Advanced Placement Scholar AwardsAdvanced Placement (AP) classes challenge students with college-level coursework and provide an opportunity to earn college credit before graduation. Students take exams at the end of the year, which are scored on a 0-5 scale, to qualify for college credit. Each year, students are recognized for earning outstanding scores of 3 or higher on multiple AP exams. Simley High School had 41 students earn AP Scholar Awards in three categories this year.
