New Announcements
Attention all 7th -12th grade girls planning to try-out for the Simley High School hockey program: There will be a mandatory meeting for players and parents of those planning to try out for the Simley Girls High School hockey team this Sunday, September 25 at 6:00 pm in Community Room 2 at the VMCC. The meeting will cover the following: Season overview, try-on of team apparel, captains practice and the unveiling of the new Simley Girls Hockey Website.
The 7th and 8th Grade Dance is TODAY, Friday, September 23rd. Tickets will be on sale starting Tuesday, September 20th. Donations Needed - 2L. Pop, Bottles of Water, Bags of Candy & $5 Gift Cards (to be used as raffle prizes)

ODYSSEY OF THE MIND
If you are looking for an activity for your child that will allow them to learn new skills, be creative, and allow them to perform in front of an audience while still learning concepts from STEM (science technology engineering and math) then Odyssey of the Mind may be the activity! Come to an informational meeting on Monday September 26 at the Middle School IMC at 6:30 to learn more about this program. Click here for more information and registration form.

Continuing Announcements
Family Support Group
NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Minnesota provides support groups to help parents and caregivers discover resources to meet the challenges of raising a child with a mental illness, learn coping skills and develop problem solving skills. Each of the support groups are facilitated by a parent who has a child with a mental illness and who has received specialized training.

An Important Reminder for all students & parents…
All students must be accompanied by an adult in order to attend any home athletic events. This includes all middle school events as well as any high school events including the varsity football games. We will turn students away at the door if they are not with an adult. Please know that a parent cannot just drop a student off for the night. They must buy a ticket and be in attendance during the event.
