Inver Grove Heights Middle School Daily Announcements

New Announcements
7th & 8th Grade Volleyball & 7th & 8th Grade Soccer and 7th & 8th Grade Girls Tennis Starts Today. All athletes who are registered to play middle school Girls Tennis, Soccer or Volleyball should meet in C gym after school. Practice will be done at 4:15 p.m.
7th & 8th Grade Football Players - You will have practice right after school today.
Attention Middle School Girls Swimmers - The bus will be by the Music Doors (door #26) at 2:40 p.m. to bring you to the Grove. Parents must pick up swimmers at the Grove. 6th graders are done at 4:30 p.m. and 7th & 8th graders are done at 5 p.m.
If you are interested in participating in a Fall sport and haven't signed up yet, it's not too late. Contact Mrs. Madigan in the Activities office at 651-306-7001 or email [email protected] if you have questions about the sport or registering.
Cross Country
Do you like to run? If yes, you should join Cross Country. Open to any 7th and 8th grade boy and girl. Those interested should meet by the Stadium concession stand at 3:00 p.m. to talk with Coach Gerber.
Continuing Announcements
Inver Grove Heights Middle School Parent Teacher Student Association invites you to get involved in supporting our students, staff and parents! Our first PTSA meeting will be Tuesday Sept 5th at 6:30 pm in the IMC (library). Our Superintendent Dave Bernhardson will be joining us to share about what's going on in the district, give us information about the upcoming levy, and to answer your questions. Theater
Reminder that auditions for A Midsummer Night's Dream are coming up this week! You can sign up for auditions on Wednesday or Thursday from 2:30-5:00 (you stay for the whole time). This show is going to be a blast, and I know everyone would love to see some new faces as well as old so tell your friends! The script can be found online to read for free if you would like to familiarize yourself before auditions.
Volleyball News
7th and 8th grade girls interested or signed up for volleyball, please meet in the C Gym right after school, September 6th, until 3:30PM.

The following sports start on Wednesday, September 6 at 2:45 p.m.

Simley Co-Ed High School Bowling Club: Do you have a son or daughter in 7th through 12th grade that is interested in bowling for the Simley Co-Ed High School Bowling Club? Any level of bowler is welcome. If interested, please contact Gary Salzman (coach) at [email protected] for more information.
An Important Reminder for all students & parents…
All students must be accompanied by an adult in order to attend any home athletic events. This includes all middle school events as well as any high school events including the varsity football games. We will turn students away at the door if they are not with an adult. Please know that a parent cannot just drop a student off for the night. They must buy a ticket and be in attendance during the event.
