The College Knowledge Fact of the Day: The “best” college for you means a college that is the best fit- so think about what you want in a school and then research and find out which schools meet that criteria. Most schools offer special visit days during MEA so take advantage of your days off this week and make some college visits!

A reminder to seniors that there will be a FAFSA Completion Workshop for you and your parents on Tuesday, October 17th during conferences. Families can come anytime between 5:30 and 7:30 and get FREE professional help completing the FAFSA, which is the application required to receive any federal or state loans, grants, or work study for post-secondary education. There will also translators on site to support Spanish speaking families. Those who attend will also be entered into a drawing for a $500 scholarship! Take advantage of this excellent opportunity and see Ms. Kimble for more information as well as a list of things to bring to the workshop.
