Senior Night for the Simley Girls volleyball team is always a great night. On Monday, October 16th, the Spartans took on Visitation and and won in four sets. With the exception of the former volleyball captain now the Varsity assistant, the team looked almost as good as the coaches dressed. The Spartans dominated the match in the first, second, and fourth sets, while everything went Visitation's way in the third set, narrowly defeating the home team. The Seniors set the stage for the night's fun with Ashley Perrin and Guresi Mena leading the offense with 22 kills between them. Libero Kayla Anderson took over the defense and owned the back court leading both teams with 11 digs. Abby Stein, when she wasn't playing the ball over Visitation's side of the net, was simply perfect from the service line. Senior night is a moment you look back and be proud of who you've become, while at the same time you miss who you were. Everyone was proud of our senior volleyball players last night.
