Continuing Announcements

Attention all families:

The 7th and 8th grade AVID classes are hosting a College Fair on Tuesday May 29th from 8:45am-10:15am. The College Fair will be held in the middle school atrium and IMC. All families and community members are invited to attend!

Parking Lot Safety

Attention Parents/Guardians:

We have been noticing a pattern of parents /guardians dropping off students in the main lot and having the students cross through traffic to get to the building. We have had several unsafe situations in the last few days. We ask that all parents and guardians drop off students ONLY in the drop off lane.  Please also limit your speed in the lot. The safety of our students is the priority!

District Start Time Update:

If you were unable to attend the community meeting at Simley High School’s Spartan Center on May 15, the district is offering an opportunity to share your thoughts on the school start and end time options being considered. Visit the district’s Start Time Review webpage, www.isd199.org/district/start_time_review, to see the presentation information. Attendance information

Attendance at school is very important to student success. We realize that at times students must miss school. If your child is going to miss school please call the attendance line as soon as possible at 651-306-7878 and leave a message with your child’s name and grade. If a student misses 2 or more days we can request make-up work.

* If you are picking your child up from school early, please send a note with your child to the office in the morning. It can be a distraction to the class if we have to quickly get a child out of class.  Thank you for your understanding!

An Important Reminder for all students & parents…

All students must be accompanied by an adult in order to attend any home athletic events. This includes all middle school events as well as any high school events. We will turn students away at the door if they are not with an adult. Please know that a parent cannot just drop a student off for the night. They must buy a ticket and be in attendance during the event.
