The Dakota County Special Education Advisory Council invites you to join us for a presentation on:

What: Understanding ACES: Building Self Healing Communities

Description:
An adverse childhood experience (ACE) describes a traumatic experience in a person's life occurring before the age of 18. The "Understanding ACEs: Building Self-Healing Communities" presentation provides information about the ACE study, along with neurobiology that explains why ACEs impact people's lives, and what we can all do to dramatically improve health and resilience for this and future generations.
