New Announcements

Our Middle School Lost and Found table is beginning to overflow. If your child is missing or lost something, please encourage him/her to check for it on the table and collect it. All items will be removed and donated if they are not picked up by Thursday, December 20, 2018.

The next Parents and Friends of IGHMS (formerly PTSA) meeting will be on Tuesday, December 18th at 6:30 in the IMC.

Reminder:  Students that need to be sent home due to illness or injury, must report to the nurse.  The nurse will contact the parent/guardian before the student will be allowed to leave.  The student is not allowed to call/text the parent on their own asking to be picked up. This will result in an unexcused absence.

Career Day

The IGHMS 8th Grade Career Day is coming soon! We are looking for members of our community who would be willing to join us in educating our students about all of the career options available. We are planning it for Friday, February 15th from approximately 7:30am until 9:30am. You will be asked to give a 20 minute presentation to 4 different groups of 8th grade students about your career. Your presence is a great example of the partnership that schools and communities can share; and will assist our students in making better, more informed choices in school and in life after school.

If you are interested in joining us on this day, or for more information, please email Jennell Garten at [email protected] or Jess Maloney at [email protected].

In advance, thank you for your consideration!
