Simley boys basketball got back on track with putting together two good halves of basketball. Leading the way were three seniors Isaiah Robinson who played great defense and scored a game high 20 points. Cole Tschida and AJ Erickson played well controlling the rebound effort with over 20 rebounds between the two of them. AJ Erickson also added 14 points. Breyton Buysman chipped in 16 points and RJ Jioklow added 11 points in the win at South St. Paul. Simley next goes on the road again at Como Park on Friday night at 7:00 pm.

Simley Girls Basketball held SSP to 9 points for most of the 2nd half of the game last night. The defense turned an 11 point half-time lead into a 20 point lead quickly. The Danso sisters controlled a lot of the middle and had 10 and 9 points. Simley had 9 players score and Zareia had 16 points and Sydney had 11. The Spartans won 63-31. The team plays North High School on Friday at 7pm here at home.

The Girls Hockey team put another tally in the win column by beating the St. Paul/Henry Sibley Riveters 4-0. It didn’t take long for the Spartans to take the lead, with Avery Schwark (Laura Rydahl) putting one in shortly after the game started. With a 1-0 lead going into the 2nd, the Spartans would score three more times, with a goal from Ella Tuccitto (Avery Schwark), and two more from Schwark (Tuccitto) (Rydahl) to give her the hat trick! Shots on goal were 47-7 in the Spartans’ favor. Goaltender Ava Patnode earned her 5th shutout of the season!
