This is a reminder to all AP student to register for your AP exams. The next drawing for a free exam will be this Friday. If you win the free exam, you will be reimbursed for the exam, so still plan to pay for your exams when you register. Register soon and good luck!
Attention German Club - There is a German Club meeting tomorrow (2/15) morning at 7:15 a.m. in Mr. Mitchell’s room.
Do you have any extra school supplies or old clothes lying around? Bring them to the varsity boys basketball game on Friday, 2/15 to help with the Tri-district Food and Clothing Shelf.
Seniors, TODAY is the last day to turn in your baby photos, senior photos, and senior surveys if you want to be in the senior section of the yearbook. Photos should be sent to [email protected]. See Ms. Hensch if you have any questions.
The Snowball Dance is next Saturday, February 23, from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. Tickets will go on sale next week during all three lunches. Remember, if you are bringing a guest from another school, guest contracts need to be submitted on or before Wednesday, February 20. Guest contracts are available in the guidance office and must be signed by Ms. Klukas.
Spring sports registration is now available in Feepay.
Following are the start dates for high school Spring sports:
March 5 - Adapted Bowling & Adapted Softball (grades 7-12 must meet CI, PI or ASD Criteria)
March 11 – Simley Softball (9th, JV & Varsity teams)
Boys & Girls Track & Field
Simley Baseball (9th, JV & Varsity teams)
March 18 – Boys & Girls Golf (grades 7-12)
March 25 – Simley Boys Tennis (grades 7-12)
April 1 – Boys Lacrosse (grades 7-12)
Upcoming College Visits:
A representative from the following colleges will be visiting Simley at the specified dates and times. If you are interested in learning more about a college and hearing from an admission representative from their school, sign-up and get a pass from Ms. Kimble in the Student Center.

Attention Parents - If you are calling in to report an absence and would like to go directly to the Attendance line, please call 651-306-7010.
Attention Students - Wearing of hats or hoods is not allowed during the school day. If you have any questions, please see an administrator.
REMINDER - The IMC, the Student Center and the Spartan Center are closed all of 5th hour. You must stay in the cafeteria during your lunch period.
Attention all boys interested in playing Lacrosse this spring, please plan to attend a preseason meeting on Tuesday, February 26th in the Cafeteria.

Teens for Jeans Drive - February 4 - February 22
22nd!! Donate any size, gently used jeans for homeless shelters in the IGH community. Please drop the jeans off in the donation box located in the Guidance office.
Simley Trap Shooting Spring 2019 Key Dates and Information
Registration for the 2019 Spring Trap season will be open on Feb. 8th. Trap is open to all 7th-12th Grade Simley Students.
Below are some key dates for Returning or New athletes:
Friday, March 8th: Team Registration Deadline
Saturday, March 9th: Pre –Season Primer and Lifetouch Photo event SSP Gun Club (More time specific details to follow)
Monday, April 1st : Start of the Season
Saturday April 13th: Last day to complete Required Minnesota DNR Firearms Safety Certificate Field day(New Athletes)

Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
