Spring Break is March 25-29- We do not have school.

6^th grade Rocket Fundraiser:

The 6^th grade science department is raising money to fund rockets for the rocket launch project in class. We are hoping to receive enough support to fund a rocket for every student.  Parents of 6^th grade students have received information regarding this fundraiser and we want to thank everyone who has donated.  If you have not contributed, please consider doing so by sending cash to Ms. Hill or Ms. Cook via your student or log in to Feepay and donate any amount. Continuing Announcements

Attention 8th Grade Parents:

When we get back from spring break you will be receiving an email and a permission slip about the 8th Gr. Valley Fair Field Trip and the end of the year.  Here is just a quick overview of when it is and how much it will cost.

8th Grade Valley Fair Field Trip

Date: Wednesday, June 5 - Rain or Shine!

Cost: $26 plus spending money for food, souvenirs, etc.

Middle School Spring Sports Begin on Tuesday, April 2nd 

Baseball (7^th & 8^th Grade)

Softball (7^th & 8^th Grade)

Track – boys & girls (6^th – 8^th Grade)

ATHLETES MUST BE REGISTERED BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE

Registration is done through Feepay. If your family has reached the fee maximum for the school year, contact Mrs. Madigan in the Activities office to adjust the fee prior to registering. Maximum activity fees per school year are $290(1 participant per family), $400 (2 participants per family) and $500 (3 or more participants per family).

The maximum family fee applies to students in grades 6-12.  If you have questions about registration, please contact the Activities department at 651-306-7001 or email [email protected]

There are also high school sports that 7^th & 8^th grade students may participate in.

Simley High School Sports Start Dates

March 18 – Simley Boys & Girls Golf (grades 7-12)**

**The Golf Boosters also offer a developmental Golf program that is open to 6^th-8^th grade girls & boys. Do not register for Golf in Feepay if you plan to participate in Developmental Golf. More details regarding the developmental Golf program will be available at a parent/golfer meeting on Tuesday, April 9th at 6 p.m. in the Simley Spartan Center.

March 25 – Simley Boys Tennis (grades 7-12)

April 1 – Boys Lacrosse (grades 7-12)

Yearbooks- Don’t miss your chance!

Cost: $25 for a standard book.  Ordering ends April 1^st, 2019

Sports Schedules

All high school & middle school sports schedules are available at www.metroeastconference.org  - select Simley to see all information related to sports.

*Important Reminder for all students & parents

All students must be accompanied by a Parent/Guardian in order to attend any home athletic events. This includes all middle school events as well as any high school events. We will turn students away at the door if they are not with a Parent/Guardian. Please know that a Parent/Guardian cannot just drop a student off for the night. They must buy a ticket and be in attendance during the event.
