Attention all current AP students that are registered to take an AP exam In May:

All AP students taking an exam must attend a mandatory AP information session.


Information sessions will be held this week and next week in AP Geography classes, AP US, AP Lang, AP Psych and AP spanish classes.

If you are taking an AP exam and you are NOT in either AP lang, spanish, psych, US or Geography, you MUST attend a session in one of those classrooms.


AP teachers will be handing out a flyer that lists all the dates and class periods of the sessions you can choose from.

It is mandatory you attend, so plan ahead. You will not be allowed to take your exam if you do not attend a session.




Attention Seniors: Your Grad Fee of $45 is was due NOW.  You can still pay this fee through your FeePay account or by cash or check in the main office. See Ms. Sievert in the main office if you have any questions.



This is a reminder for seniors that credit recovery begins tomorrow after school.   See your counselor if you have questions.



Attention football players for the 2019-2020 season: There will be a short informational meeting at 2:40 this Wednesday, April 10th in Coach Mensen's room (WA 103) to discuss summer schedule and fundraising.




Attention Prom Committee members: Our next meeting will be held on Thursday, April 11th in Mrs. Martin's classroom, EA 211. If you are unable to attend please let Mrs. Martin know.




Fall 2019 Simley Soccer Players!  TOMORROW, Tuesday, April 9, there will be a 2:35 PM meeting in the high school lunchroom to hear from Simley High Soccer Coaches about summer training, summer soccer camps, and the upcoming fall soccer season. Also, on hand will be Simley Soccer Booster Club members to discuss the Spring fundraiser to help with your booster fees. All incoming freshman are welcome to attend.



Interested in joining the 2019-2020 Simley Dance Team?  Fall Performance Team and Winter Competitive Team tryout practices will take place starting TODAY, Monday, April 8th and Tuesday, April 9th from 4:00-5:00 p.m. & 5:30-6:30 p.m. and on Thursday, April 11th from 5:00-6:30 p.m.  If you are currently in grades 6-11, you are welcome to tryout. See the signs posted around school for more details. Please email the Coaches at [email protected] with any questions.





Upcoming College Visits:

A representative from the following colleges will be visiting Simley at the specified dates and times. If you are interested in learning more about a college and hearing from an admission representative from their school, sign-up and get a pass from Ms. Kimble in the Student Center

Dakota County Technical College will be visiting TODAY,  Monday, April 8th @ 9:30 AM

Attention Students - Wearing of hats or hoods is not allowed during the school day.  If you have any questions, please see an administrator.




REMINDER  - The IMC, the Student Center and the Spartan Center are closed all of 5th hour. You must stay in the cafeteria during your lunch period.

Simley Theatre Booster meeting will be Tuesday, April 9th at 6:30pm in the Simley IMC. This will be our last meeting before the show, please plan to attend to help tie up loose ends.

Just a reminder that the lacrosse apparel stores are open now.

Please order any optional lacrosse apparel as soon as possible.

**Both stores close on April 9th at midnight.

Please join the Inver Grove Heights B.E.S.T. Foundation on April 13 for the annual silent auction and dinner fundraiser. This year’s dinner will be held at a new location, St. Patrick's Social Hall, and will feature games, a social hour, and an Italian dinner catered by DeGidios Restaurant.

Donate to Sydney, EmmaGrace and Jen’s Hygiene Drive going on from March 20th through April 12th for their NHS project! Any toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, bar soap and deodorant can be dropped off in the Hygiene Donation Box in the Guidance office.



Bring gently used clothes and accessories for donation to Neighbor's Inc on April 1st through April 5th. Donations can be brought to the donations box located in the Guidance Office.



Bring your new or gently used books to the guidance office this week to help support Dakota County Libraries. Ben Briguet and Logan Streich are collecting books for their NHS project and appreciate your donations.





March 18-April 30, 2019

Students will be participating with a student service learning project in Ms. Parker’s Room before and after school in W215 to sell for $10 H20 for Life T-Shirts for a fundraiser for Badi

Dhani School - Health, Nutrition & Education in India. The proposed project will be an integrated effort on improving health and nutrition awareness among children. Availability of safe drinking water, Bio-sand filters and regular check-ups to monitor the health of the students. This school has already received water and sanitation facilities with the support of H2O for Life.




Attention Junior and Seniors: Prom is Saturday, May 11th and will held on a riverboat on the St. Croix River in Stillwater. The Grand March will be held at Simley in the Performing Arts Center. The tickets will be $40 and include Grand March, dinner and the dance on the boat. More information to follow.




Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
