New Announcements

Library - Please ask your student if they have any overdue library resources and take a look around the house.  We have a lot of titles still checked out and would love to have them returned to the library before Thursday, June 6th.   Thanks for helping us keep our library stocked!


Yearbooks
will be distributed to the 8th grade on Tuesday, June 4th.

We will have some extra yearbooks available for purchase on Tuesday for 8th graders.

Send $25 with your student if you would like to purchase one.

If there are books remaining they will be available for purchase by students.

Please plan to send money with your student- we will not be reserving books for students who do not have cash or check in hand at sale time.

 

 

There's still time to register for the IGH Youth Center!
IGH Youth Center is open to students going into grades 6-9 and admission includes weekly field trips to places like Valleyfair, Nickelodeon Universe, waterparks, Grand Slam and more! Continuing Announcements

 

Attention all 6th, 7th & 8th Grade Girls!

The Middle School Girls Swim & Dive season will begin after school on Tuesday, September 3. The JV/VARSITY Team begins their season on Monday, August 12.  You will need to contact Coach Iverson if you are going to join the JV/VARSITY Team @ [email protected].  Information can be found at the Middle School Office or the Athletic Office. 

 

2019 Simley Soccer Camp:  All Fall 2019 Simley soccer players please sign up for their summer soccer camp ASAP. The boys’ soccer camp runs from 9-11 AM on July 15-18.  The girls’ soccer camp runs from 10-12 PM on July 8-11. All camp information and registration details can be found on the Simley Soccer website www.simleysoccer.com.  Open for players entering 8-12 grade in the fall of 2019.

 

2019 Simley Soccer Captains Practice:  Boys and Girls Captains Practice will be held the weeks of July 29 and August 5 with time to be determined.  Further information will be posted on the Simley Soccer website www.simleysoccer.com .  Open for players entering 8-12 grade in the fall of 2019.

 

 

If you placed an apparel order with General Sports – orders have been received and are now available in the main office.  Please plan to stop in or have your student pick up your order.

 

 

Attention all girls interested in Gymnastics - Information for the summer Gymnastics camp is available in Ms. Walsh's classroom EA 208 or in the Activities office.  

 

 

Simley Boys Basketball Youth Camp - June 11th – 14th

Grades: 4th through 8th (2019-2020 school year)

Time: 8:30am – 12:30pm (Tuesday – Friday)

Location: Simley Main Gym

The Simley Boys Basketball Staff along with the 2018-19 Simley Boys team will be coaching at the camp.  Each camper will be taught fundamentals of basketball which include ball handling and dribbling, passing, shooting, and offensive footwork. Campers will participate in contests, games, and lectures.

Sports Schedules

All middle school & high school sports game schedules can be found at www.metroeastconference.org - click on Simley.  Whenever there are changes to the schedule, the change will be made here.  This is the official schedule. 

**If you would like to receive a notification whenever a change is made, you can sign up for that on this site. This is a very helpful feature particularly in the Spring when are dealing with so many weather issues.  Go to www.metroeastconference.org - click on Simley. On the right hand side of page, there is a box "Notify Me" - click on "Notify Me" - create an account, choose your preferences & you will be notified.  There is also a box to get the mobile app.

 

 

 

 

*Important Reminder for all students & parents

All students must be accompanied by a Parent/Guardian in order to attend any home athletic events. This includes all middle school events as well as any high school events. We will turn students away at the door if they are not with a Parent/Guardian. Please know that a Parent/Guardian cannot just drop a student off for the night. They must buy a ticket and be in attendance during the event.
