The guidance counselors would like to welcome all students back to Simley and we would like to remind students that you can request an appointment to see your counselor by going to the Simley web page and selecting "Counselor Sign-in".  We will then send a pass to meet with students during a convenient time for all. There is a computer kiosk in the guidance office if students prefer to sign in on this before school, after school, or during passing time.

 

Students must have a pass to see their guidance counselor unless it is an emergency situation. Students that try to come to the office without a pass will be sent back to class without a pass. 

9th and 10th Grade Chromebooks

This year our 9th and 10th grade students will be receiving Chromebooks for school. The 9th grade will receive them on Sept. 9th and 10th grade on Sept. 10th. Before students can receive them, they must have the Digital Learning Tools Agreement signed and turned in to the main office. If opting for insurance, payment must also be made prior to receiving. Purchase insurance through FEEPAY.

Attention Seniors:

Study Hall Release and Lunch Release forms are available in the main office.  Only seniors who have returned their signed forms may leave the building.

*9th, 10th, and 11th graders are NOT allowed to leave for lunch.

Food deliveries are not allowed at Simley, so please bring your lunch or purchase it in the cafeteria.

Attention seniors!  Senior shirt must be ordered by next Tuesday!  We have a very early homecoming so be quick! Information will be available in Homeroom or from Ms. Walsh.   

Auditions for Romeo and Juliet will be held Tuesday, September 10th and Wednesday, September 11th after school 3:45-5 pm.  Call back will be held Thursday as needed and casting shall be done and posted by Friday of the same week.  You can find audition sign ups in the Middle School main office as well as outside the Theatre office in the high school.

The Cross Country team is still looking for runners.  It’s not too late to sign up for the 2019 season. Contact Mr. Gerber or the Activities office if you have questions.

Attention 9th Graders!!

Every year the students at Simley wear t-shirts for Homecoming week. 

Here is the link for the FRESHMAN shirt. The order closes Friday night, August 30th so the shirts will be ready in time for the Monday of Homecoming week.  Be sure to save your email receipt after you submit payment. Of course this is optional, order if you are interested. The cost is $14

High School Parking

Applications for parking can be turned in to the main office. Students can turn in applications today through Friday, September 6th for priority status (PSEO, DCTC, Work Study, Seniors, Juniors & Sophomores). Any applications turned in after that will lose priority and be placed at the end of the line. Payment for parking passes will not be accepted until a parking permit is issued. 

We also ask that all students applying for a parking permit fill out an additional form to see if they qualify for a reduction in price. Click here to fill out the paper form to turn in OR click here to apply through your campus portal. 

Upcoming College Visits:

A representative from the following colleges will be visiting Simley at the specified dates and times. If you are interested in learning more about a college and hearing from an admission representative from their school, sign-up and get a pass from Ms. Kimble in the Student Center

Attention Parents - If you are calling in to report an absence and would like to go directly to the Attendance line, please call 651-306-7010.  

 

Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
