What is the Simley Trap Club Team? A clay target shooting sport team that has a spring sports schedule starting April 1st. All Students in 7-12 grade who possess their MN DNR Firearms Safety Certificate are eligible to participate on the team. Faculty, Parents and Potential Students are welcome to come to a Trap Demo this Saturday 9/14 between 10:00 am to 11:15 am at the SSP Gun Club, 600 Gun Club Road, SSP. Field 1 or 2 likely. Meet the team coach Paul Tinucci and team manager Shawn Ockwig, observe a demonstration, check out the equipment needed, gather information and schedule requirements, etc. If you have a MN DNR FAS, you could try your skill with our coaches and equipment. Registration for all Fall Sports is now closed.
All 6th and 7th grade parents- iPad Technology use agreements
We continue to collect iPad user agreements for our 6th and 7th grade students. If you have not sent it back to the office please do so right away. Your students will not receive their iPad until this document is signed and returned. Thank you!
8th grade parents- Technology use agreements
If you have not already done so, please sign and have your student sign the technology use agreement and return the form to school. All students are required to sign this document before they will be able to utilize school technology. Thank you!

Therapy OPS: Parent Support Group for Children with Special Needs & Grant Re-Opening Event

The first Middle School PTO meeting is Tuesday, September 17th at 6:30 in the Media Center. We will be sharing more information about committees, including the Book Fair and the upcoming 6th grade party. This is a great opportunity to get involved. Mark your calendar!
Sports Schedules
All middle school & high school sports game schedules can be found at www.metroeastconference.org - click on Simley. Whenever there are changes to the schedule, the change will be made here. This is the official schedule.
**If you would like to receive a notification whenever a change is made, you can sign up for that on this site. This is a very helpful feature particularly in the Spring when are dealing with so many weather issues. Go to www.metroeastconference.org - click on Simley. On the right hand side of page, there is a box "Notify Me" - click on "Notify Me" - create an account, choose your preferences & you will be notified. There is also a box to get the mobile app.
*Important Reminder for all students & parents
All students must be accompanied by a Parent/Guardian in order to attend any home athletic events. This includes all middle school events as well as any high school events. We will turn students away at the door if they are not with a Parent/Guardian. Please know that a Parent/Guardian cannot just drop a student off for the night. They must buy a ticket and be in attendance during the event.
