Attention all students: This is the last week of open parking. Starting next week, all students who are parked on campus must have a parking pass from the main office. Parking is not permitted in the staff lot, unless you have been issued a special pass.
TOMORROW, Friday, September 20th is Picture Make-up Day. This is for students who were unable to take their photo during orientation day. Pictures will be taken in the morning by last name, so please make sure you are listening to the announcements. Retakes will be at a later date.
Interested in the military as an option after high school? Not sure what career path will be a good fit for you? The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, or ASVAB, might be beneficial for you! The ASVAB is required for those who plan to enlist in any branch of the military. The test also includes an in-depth career exploration program, helpful for all students. The ASVAB will be offered at Simley for free on Tuesday, September 24th and is open to students in grades 10-12. Get more information and sign-up with Ms. Kimble in the Career Center.
There will be a short Robotics meeting after school TODAY at 3:25 in the robotics room EA109 to discuss an upcoming event. New students are welcome to come to the meeting to see what Simley FIRST Robotics is all about.
Theatre Parent Meeting TONIGHT, Thursday, September19th night at 5:30 p.m. for parents of students involved in theatre.
Come cheer the boys and girls soccer teams during homecoming week at their double headerTONIGHT against South St. Paul. Boys kick off at 5 pm and girls 7 pm. Student Appreciation Night where all Simley high school students get in to the game for free and CANES Chicken will be sold in the concessions. Come show your support for your Simley Soccer teams!!
Are you interested in getting involved this year, meeting new people, and experiencing a different culture? Join the German Club! We will have our first meeting this Friday morning at 8:10am in Mr. Mitchell's room, EA 203. Come see what it's all about. All students grades 9-12 are welcome.
Interested in joining International Club? The first meeting will be TOMORROW, Friday, September 20th at 8:15am in Ms. Reyes' room (WA111). All are welcome!

Tickets are on sale during all lunches. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. If you would like to bring a guest from another school, a guest contract must be filled out & signed by the administrator at the guest’s school. Guest forms are available in the Guidance office. GUEST FORMS ARE DUE NOW.

A representative from the following colleges will be visiting Simley at the specified dates and times. If you are interested in learning more about a college and hearing from an admission representative from their school, sign-up and get a pass from Ms. Kimble in the Student Center.

Tickets are $6 for Adults & $4 for Students. Senior Citizens 60+ are free.
Fall high school athletes are free.
NO BACKPACKS OR OUTSIDE FOOD MAY BE BROUGHT IN TO THE STADIUM
Middle School students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Sports passes will be sold at the game:
*Football Family Pass - $50
*Football Adult Pass - $40
*Family All Sports Pass includes all home games except Hockey & Sections - $110
Theatre starts in full swing this week rehearsals start today Monday, September 16th there will be a Parent Meeting Thursday, September19th night at 5:30 p.m. for parents of students involved in theatre. Tech will start Thursday after school at 3:45pm. Students interested in tech should report to the PAC at 3:30. Tech will be open for 6th through 12th grade and we will run tech 3:45 to 5:30 Monday thru Friday every week. 
Seniors -- Forgot to order your Senior Panoramic Picture? Orders will be accepted through Friday, September 20. Please give your order form to Ms. Wang in the Guidance Office.
If you didn't pick up your school photos last Friday, please pick them up in the guidance office as soon as possible.
