The Student Center will be closed on Friday, 10/4.

The Girls Swim & Dive Team CRUSHED it at last night's meet against Henry Sibley!  The Spartans continue with their Conference Winning Season by defeating the Warriors with a score of 100 - 83 and going exhibition in the last event.  The 400 Free Relay was the most exciting event of the evening pitting the SRs, JRs, SOPHs, & FRESHMEN against each other in class relays. The Seniors took the Honors home by finishing ahead of the other classes - Congrats to our Seniors Sydney Bohn, Sophia Fredeen, Anna Friske and Maya Merritt!

The Spartans host their Swim & Dive Invitational this weekend and could use help with back up timers on Saturday.  Please contact Coach Iverson if interested.  [email protected]

Congratulations to the varsity boys soccer team on their win against North St.Paul last night after they overcame a 0-2 first half deficit to come back during the second half to win 3-2!!   Next they play at Cannon Falls on Saturday at 1 pm.   Their record is now 12-2-1!

Congratulations to the girls Soccer team for their 4-0 win over North St. Paul last night!   Simley Spartans are  6-7-3 overall (2-4-1 conference).;

Congratulations to the Simley Girls Volleyball team for its straight set victory over Hastings in a Metro Conference match-up on Thursday. The season opened with a disappointing 5-set loss to the Raiders back in August and the Spartans were more than ready to avenge that night. With little mercy, the Simley 11 teased the Raiders in the first set allowing them one attempted set point before winning the last three points of the set and a 26-24 exciting finish. The Spartans then showed a large crowd and a quiet gym in Hastings just how much they have improved since that August night comfortably closing out the match 25-17 and 25-16. Beyond the individual skill improvement by every member of the squad, the last month has seen those 11 individuals come together and play for each other in the way every coach hopes a team will play. To see on a daily basis how these young women enjoy the successes of their teammates is truly inspiring. Join us in the Simley gym on next Thursday, October 10th, as the Spartans take on the North Polars for the conference championship.
