Attention all current AP students: We will holding drawings again this year for free AP exams. All you need to do to be in the drawing is to register and pay for your exams in Total Registration.  

 

We will be giving away one free AP exam each week leading up to the AP exam registration deadline of November 1st. 

 

The first drawing for a free AP exam will be Tuesday, October 15th at the end of the school day. All students that have registered for exams by the end of the day on Tuesday will be in the drawing, so hurry up and get registered for your AP exams! 

 

 

 

ATTN Seniors: If you ordered a senior panoramic photo, they are available in the Guidance Office for pick-up. Please see Ms. Wang. There is a limited number of extra copies at a cost of $17 per photo.

 

 

All Night Party Planning Committee

There will be a meeting on Monday, October 14th at 6:30 PM at the Simley IMC, to begin planning the 2020 All Night Party.   We need several committee chairs and volunteers. If you want to help out but are unable to attend please email Jane Difronzo to be added to the communication list, [email protected]

The Boys and Girls Varsity Soccer teams both have their first section playoff games at HOME on Saturday October 12!  Girls kick off at 1 pm and the boys at 3 pm. Come and cheer the teams on. The girls are ranked #4 seed and the boys #2 seed. Tickets are $10 for Adults and $5 for students/senior citizens. Passes are not accepted. Come out and support our Simley Football team tonight at home vs. Tartan!




Attention all Mathletes!!  Sign up for this year's math team either before or after school in Mr. Gingerich's room, WA 226.



Upcoming College Visits:

A representative from the following college will be visiting Simley at the specified dates and times. If you are interested in learning more about a college and hearing from an admission representative from their school, sign-up and get a pass from Ms. Kimble in the Student Center.

NORTH DAKOTA STATE COLLEGE OF SCIENCE WILL BE HERE ON TUESDAY, 10/15 

@ 11:15 AM 

Get a pass from Ms. Kimble in the Career Center if you are interested.

Interested in joining the 2019-2020 Simley Dance Team? Winter Competitive Team tryouts will take place on Monday, October 21st from 5:30-6:30pm & 6:45-7:45pm and Tuesday, October 22nd from 5:30-6:30pm. Grades 7-12 are welcome to tryout. Simley Lacrosse is excited to host another college level lacrosse game!

On, Sunday October 13th, the University of Minnesota Gophers take on St. John's at 5pm at Simley's Boche Memorial Stadium.  Come watch two of the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association's top teams clash in our very own stadium. ***ADMISSION IS FREE, concessions will run throughout the event. Warm ups at 4:15.

Prior to the game we are running a FREE "Try Lacrosse" event on the field or inside a gym (depending on weather) for any interested new to lacrosse Simley High School & Middle School students.

3-4pm - Boys Try Lacrosse run by Simley Varsity Coach Luke Johnson

4-5pm - Girls Try Lacrosse run by Simley Varsity Coach Madii Maas

Lacrosse sticks will be provided, and participants will be put through various non-contact drills, competitions, and games to get a taste of the sport. Come see how much fun lacrosse is!



Looking for a quiet place to study after school? Link Leaders will be available to help you study, organize your thoughts, or just be a great support system after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:00 in the Student Center. Come get some studying help! 



Seniors, if you did not receive a yellow yearbook to do list at the panoramic photo, please see Ms. Hensch. Senior photos, baby photos, and the senior survey are all due by December 1st. Send photos to [email protected]



 

Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
