Congratulations to the Simley Girls Volleyball team for its straight set victory on Monday over Visitation. It was Senior Night in the Spartan Gym and the six graduating volleyball stars went out in rousing fashion with floor shaking kills, booming serves, and overwhelming blocks. Smiles were in abundance with a smattering of tears from Tiwaah Danso, Emma Heimerl, Eliana Lanik, Ravyn Miles, Sydney Stensgard, and Jackie Stickler. Also honored were our two foreign exchange students, Phanthira Arjarreepipat from Thailand and Daniela Vargas from Mexico. Special recognition went to Senior Leilu Bungert who in her sixth year with the program did a wonderful job coaching on the 9th grade team.
