Attention DCTC students.  There are no DCTC classes on tomorrow, November 1st.  Please have your parents call the attendance office to excuse you if you plan on leaving.  If you choose to stay, you must remain in the Student Center or IMC.

 

 

Attention all AP students, the deadline to register for AP exams is this Friday, but we will be leaving registration open through the weekend until midnight on Sunday. 

Once registration is closed Sunday night, you will not be able to register to take your AP exams. Don't miss out on exams and get registered!

Congratulations to the Girls Swim Team on their 3rd place finish at JV Conference Champs!  It was a small squad that earned quite a bit of points compared to Mahtomedi and Hastings.

The Student Council Food Drive will kick off this week starting today. Please bring non-perishable food items to your first-hour class. The items will be donated to our very own Spartan food shelf. The food drive will end on Friday, November 8. The winning class will receive donuts and juice! Good luck and thank you for your participation!


The College Fair is tomorrow, Friday, November 1st! Over 45 colleges will be at Simley for the fair, with a range of technical, 2-year, 4-year, public, and private options. The fair will run from 8:30-10:00. All students grades 10-12 will attend the fair and will be dismissed at their assigned times. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore different college options and connect with a variety of college representatives! 

 


All Cross Country runners who have not yet turned in their End of Season Survey and Uniforms must turn them in to Coach Gerber by Friday.

 


Upcoming College Visits:A representative from the following college will be visiting Simley at the specified dates and times. If you are interested in learning more about a college and hearing from an admission representative from their school, sign-up and get a pass from Ms. Kimble in the Student Center.

HAMLINE UNIVERSITY WILL BE HERE TODAY THURSDAY 10/31 @ 10:20 AM 

UNIVERSITY OF JAMESTOWN WILL BE HERE TUESDAY 11/5 @ 9:25 AM

 

Get a pass from Ms. Kimble in the Career Center if you are interested.

Attention all soccer players! The end of season banquets are coming up.   Girls banquet is on Sunday November 3 at 5 pm and boy banquet is on Monday November 4 at 6 pm.  Both will be held at the Spartan center. Please RSVP at the below link by the end of October 30th.  Players are free and parents/family/friends are $10 each.

The Football team will be playing in the section championship vs. South St. Paul tomorrow Friday, November 1st at 7pm here at Simley.  Section tickets are $5 for students/Senior Citizens and $10 for Adults. Go Spartans!!

 



Seniors, if you did not receive a yellow yearbook to do list at the panoramic photo, please see Ms. Hensch. Senior photos, baby photos, and the senior survey are all due by December 1st. Send photos to [email protected]


 

Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
