Generations collide; young lovers must conceal their relationship from parents and friends; rival gangs burst into street brawls and sword fights:  where can you find all this drama? We invite you to come see Simley Theatre's performance of Romeo & Juliet in the Simley High School Performing Arts Center. Performances are Thursday, Nov. 7th - Saturday, Nov. 9th at 7pm and Sunday, Nov. 10th at 2pm. Tickets can be purchased online here

 

Want to see the beautiful island of Ireland in June 2020? Bring your parents to an informational meeting this Tuesday, November 5 at 5:00 PM in the Spartan Center to hear more about this amazing opportunity to travel with Mr. Corey next summer.

 

Attention all AP students, the deadline to register for AP exams is today, but we will be leaving registration open through the weekend until midnight on Sunday. 

Once registration is closed Sunday night, you will not be able to register to take your AP exams. Don't miss out on exams and get registered!

Today is the last day for Cross Country runners to turn in their year end surveys to Coach Gerber. Also return any missing uniforms so you won't be charged $40.

 

 

The Student Council Food Drive is going on this week. Please bring non-perishable food items to your first-hour class. The items will be donated to our very own Spartan food shelf. The food drive will end on Friday, November 8. The winning class will receive donuts and juice! Good luck and thank you for your participation!

 

The College Fair is today! Over 45 colleges will be at Simley for the fair, with a range of technical, 2-year, 4-year, public, and private options. The fair will run from 8:30-10:00. All students grades 10-12 will attend the fair and will be dismissed at their assigned times. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore different college options and connect with a variety of college representatives! 

 


Upcoming College Visits:A representative from the following college will be visiting Simley at the specified dates and times. If you are interested in learning more about a college and hearing from an admission representative from their school, sign-up and get a pass from Ms. Kimble in the Student Center.

UNIVERSITY OF JAMESTOWN WILL BE HERE TUESDAY 11/5 @ 9:25 AM

 

Get a pass from Ms. Kimble in the Career Center if you are interested.

 

 

The Football team will be playing in the section championship vs. South St. Paul tonight at 7pm here at Simley.  Section tickets are $6 for students/Senior Citizens and $8 for Adults. Go Spartans!!

Attention all soccer players! The end of season banquets are coming up.   Girls banquet is on Sunday November 3 at 5 pm and boy banquet is on Monday November 4 at 6 pm.  Both will be held at the Spartan center. Please RSVP at the below link by the end of October 30th.  Players are free and parents/family/friends are $10 each.

The Simley Alpine Ski team will have captains practice on Monday, November 4th. All Alpine skiers should meet in the weight room at 3:40PM.

 

Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
