ALL NIGHT PARTY FUNDRAISER

The All Night Party provides a fun and safe event for the graduates on graduation night.   The All Night Party has partnered with Chipotle on Robert Street for a fundraiser.   Wednesday November 13th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM

33% of the sales will go back directly to the All Night Party.  Just let the cashier know you are their to support the Simley All Night Party.  

 

 

All Night Party Meeting

The All Night Party will have a meeting on Monday, November 11th at 6:30 PM.  Meeting will take place right outside the Simley High school IMC. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.   If you would like to help out but are unable to attend please email Jane Difronzo to be added to future communications [email protected]

 

 

Attention German Club members. There will be a meeting on Friday at 8:10am in Mr. Mitchell's room. There will be doughnuts.

 

 

Congratulations to the Simley football team for the big win over SSP 13-7 on Friday night. The team has advanced to the first round of the state tournament on Friday, November 8th. The game will be played at Hastings High School. Our opponent will be Winona High School. Tickets will be sold from the activities office starting on Wednesday,November 6th at 8AM. Tickets are $7 for students and $11 for adults. Parking is a challenge in Hastings. The school district will provide a student fan bus for all students who want to ride the bus. Students must purchase a ticket and then they can sign up to ride the bus. The bus will leave Simley High School at 6PM on Nov 8. 

 

 

Generations collide; young lovers must conceal their relationship from parents and friends; rival gangs burst into street brawls and sword fights:  where can you find all this drama? We invite you to come see Simley Theatre's performance of Romeo & Juliet in the Simley High School Performing Arts Center. Performances are Thursday, Nov. 7th - Saturday, Nov. 9th at 7pm and Sunday, Nov. 10th at 2pm. Tickets can be purchased online here

 

 

Vaping and the use of e-cigarettes has become very popular with teenagers within the past few years.  Unfortunately, a lot of misinformation about vaping is also going around, both within the student population and the community at large.  Please see this brief factsheet for more information around vaping.

The Student Council Food Drive is going on this week. Please bring non-perishable food items to your first-hour class. The items will be donated to our very own Spartan food shelf. The food drive will end on Friday, November 8. The winning class will receive donuts and juice! Good luck and thank you for your participation!

 

 

Seniors, your baby photos, senior photos, and senior surveys are due December 1st, which is less than a month away. Please send your photos to [email protected]. If you need the yellow sheet with further information there are extra copies in the front office and on the bulletin board outside Ms. Hensch's room.

 

Upcoming College Visits:A representative from the following college will be visiting Simley at the specified dates and times. If you are interested in learning more about a college and hearing from an admission representative from their school, sign-up and get a pass from Ms. Kimble in the Student Center.

AUGSBURG UNIVERSITY WILL BE HERE ON FRIDAY 11/8 @ 1:35 PM 

 

Get a pass from Ms. Kimble in the Career Center if you are interested.

Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
