Simley Volleyball is holding a fundraiser at B-52 Burgers & Brew in Inver Grove Heights TONIGHT, Wednesday, Nov. 13.  We hope that you will enjoy a night off from cooking and come out to support Simley Volleyball.  B-52 generously donates 50% of food and beverage purchases to our program, and we would love to see you all there!  Details are listed below:

ALL NIGHT PARTY FUNDRAISER

The All Night Party provides a fun and safe event for the graduates on graduation night.   The All Night Party has partnered with Chipotle on Robert Street for a fundraiser.   

Wednesday, November 13th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM

33% of the sales will go back directly to the All Night Party.  Just let the cashier know you are there to support the Simley All Night Party.

The Simley Football Banquet is on Sunday, December 8 at Tinucci's in Newport

12:00 pm- check in

12:30 pm- dinner and program to follow

$25 per person payable by cash, check or credit card at the door

Attention German Club members! There will be a meeting on Friday at 8:10am in Mr. Mitchell's room. Bring your t-shirt ideas!

 

 

Attention all Cross Country runners and families, the end of season banquet is this Friday at 6:30 in the Spartan Center. Please RSVP in the SignUp Genius email that was sent out last week. 

 

Simley students will have a unique learning opportunity on Monday, November 18th at 1:30 PM. A program specialist from the Department of Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities will be at Simley to present to any student interested in STEM fields, engineering, and sustainability overall. They will provide information about the majors and specializations within the majors that fall under the Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering at the U of M as well as career pathways related to these in-demand majors. Interested students should sign-up with Ms. Kimble in the Career Center.

 

Upcoming College Visits:A representative from the following college will be visiting Simley at the specified dates and times. If you are interested in learning more about a college and hearing from an admission representative from their school, sign-up and get a pass from Ms. Kimble in the Student Center.

UNIVERSITY OF IOWA WILL BE HERE ON THURSDAY 11/14 @ 10:20 AM 

MACALESTER COLLEGE WILL BE HERE ON FRIDAY 11/15 @ 9:30 AM 

 

Get a pass from Ms. Kimble in the Career Center if you are interested.

Simley Girls High School Bowling Club:  Do you have a daughter in 7th through 12th grade that is interested in bowling for the Simley Girls High School Bowling Club.  Our Girls season will begin mid-December. Any level of bowler is welcome. If so, please contact Gary Salzman (coach) at [email protected] for more information.  Practices will start mid-December.

 


Seniors, please fill out the senior hall of fame survey by December 13th. You will receive the survey link in your second hour class today. If you need the link please see the front office or Ms. Hensch

 


Seniors, your baby photos, senior photos, and senior surveys are due December 1st, which is less than a month away. Please send your photos to [email protected]. If you need the yellow sheet with further information there are extra copies in the front office and on the bulletin board outside Ms. Hensch's room.

 

 

Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
