Homeroom is TODAY at the beginning of second hour.  You will be receiving your trimester 2 schedules. Reminder: the last day for schedule changes is Monday, November 25.



Attention all students who have Mr. Rajanen or Mr. McNeely’s for homeroom - you will be meeting in the main gym today for homeroom.



Congratulations to our High School Bowling Varsity and JV teams for a successful season. 


Congratulations to our Simley Red and Simley White JV teams for advancing to State.  They will be competing at the JV State Tournament this Sunday, November 24th. Good luck!


Congratulations to Brooke Salzman and Ashley VanKempen for receiving Varsity All Conference awards and congratulations to Brooke for also qualifying for the High School Bowling Singles Tournament.

 

Congratulations to Ryan Carpenter, Maddie Clevenger, Carter Hakl, Zach Howe, Brooke Llerandi, Brianna O'Brien, and Anna Olson for receiving All Honors. 


Also, congratulations to Zach Howe, Stephen Marsolais, Megan Miles, David Olson, MayLeea Turner, Carter Vitch for qualifying for the High School Bowling Future Stars team which is for the top 7th and 8th graders in the Conference. 

 


Auditions for  the One Act Play will be held TODAY, Thursday, November 21 and Friday, November 22.  If you are interested in auditioning, the sign up sheet is posted by Jim Davis’s office in the Performing Arts Hallway.  If you have any questions, contact Jim.

 

Do you want to be more active in the community? Need some extra volunteer hours or have an interest in current environmental issues? Join Simley’s new environmental club! The first informational meeting is taking place on Monday, November 25th at 8 am in Ms. Prall’s room. Everyone is welcome!

 

 

Upcoming College Visits:A representative from the following college will be visiting Simley at the specified dates and times. If you are interested in learning more about a college and hearing from an admission representative from their school, sign-up and get a pass from Ms. Kimble in the Student Center.

Get a pass from Ms. Kimble in the Career Center if you are interested.

Final exams are next week!  The finals schedule is as follows:  Tuesday finals are hours 1, 3, 5, and 7.   Wednesday finals are hours 2, 4, 5 and 6. Fifth hour is held at its normal time, both days.

Hour 3 (10:20-12:05)

Hour 5 (12:10-1:30)

Simley Girls High School Bowling Club:  Do you have a daughter in 7th through 12th grade that is interested in bowling for the Simley Girls High School Bowling Club.  Our Girls season will begin mid-December. Any level of bowler is welcome. If so, please contact Gary Salzman (coach) at [email protected] for more information.  Practices will start mid-December.

Seniors, please fill out the senior hall of fame survey by December 13th. You will receive the survey link in your second hour class today. If you need the link please see the front office or Ms. Hensch

 


Seniors, your baby photos, senior photos, and senior surveys are due December 1st, which is less than a month away. Please send your photos to [email protected]. If you need the yellow sheet with further information there are extra copies in the front office and on the bulletin board outside Ms. Hensch's room.

 

 

Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
