Take the complexities of parenting and layer on 2 (or more) parents who aren’t married and it makes it feel almost impossible! This course will outline the basics to help make Co-parenting easier. PTO Fundraising News

We are excited to share with you that we have 3 new ways to drive funds for our school! Please share these links with family and friends, it's easy to use the links and we earn money that can be used for teacher mini grants, supplies, 6/7/8th grade parties and more!

Amazon (corrected link) - it's so easy to support the school every time you make a purchase from Amazon! Just use this link set up specifically for our school https://smile.amazon.com/ch/41-2019679 and for eligible purchases the AmazonSmile foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price to the Middle School PTO. Save the link on your desktop and mobile phone!

Shutterfly - we have a new fundraising opportunity with Lifetouch and Shutterfly, who’ve joined forces to capture, preserve and share. With their help, we’ve created a custom online storefront where you can shop the extensive Shutterfly collection of photo books, gifts, keepsakes, home décor and so much more—and for every purchase made, Shutterfly will donate 8% to our organization.

It’s easy to support us:

1.     Visit our Shutterfly Storefront at: http://ighmspto.shutterflystorefront.com/

2.     Click through to start shopping!

3.     Purchase thoughtful gifts and keepsakes for friends, family and especially yourself.

4.     That’s it! For every purchase made, 8% of the proceeds will go toward helping our organization.

It’s that easy. Plus, you can even use applicable Shutterfly discount codes to save on your entire order.

Office Depot / Office Max - 5% of qualifying purchases are provided in credits back to the school. Just use ID 70054083 when shopping online or in-store!

Please feel free to share this information with your friends, family and co-workers—the more orders we receive through these special links the more our school earns!

Extended Learning Days

In 2017, the Minnesota legislature amended its state statute on school year requirements to allow schools to use “e-learning days” when faced with dangerous winter weather. Schools can use these e-learning days, known as Extended Learning Days in the Inver Grove Heights Schools District, for up to five days per school year when schools close due to inclement weather. Each Extended Learning Day that schools use counts as a full school day to keep student learning on track and alleviate the need to add makeup days at the end of the school year.

Extended Learning Days will be used after two Snow or Cold Days cancel school. On the third day, families will receive an automated call that will state the reason that school will be canceled and that it is an Extended Learning Day. Click here to learn more about Extended Learning Days.

Clothing Closet:

*At this time no clothing is needed. We will post requests as needs occur.  Thank you for supporting our Spartan Clothing Closet!
