Attention Seniors: Study hall and lunch release forms must be renewed for trimester 3.  Forms are available in the main office and guidance office.  Please return your trimester 2 release cards to the main office.

This event is a great way to celebrate with your friends.  The event includes food, casino, laser tag, henna tattoos and more! The last softball captains practice before the season starts will be Wednesday March 4th in the AB Gym. Softball player meeting will be Thursday March 5th right after school in the Spartan Center, come see what the softball program is all about. Please see Coach Ostby with any questions.


Congratulations to the Boys' Swimming and Diving team for their outstanding performances last week at the Minnesota State championship. The 200 Medley Relay team of Brandon Petryszyn, Ethan Jie, Nico Losinski, and Gabe Ukestad qualified for state finals,  Ethan Jie placed 25th in the 500 free. Brandon Petryszyn placed 11th in the 500 free earning him All State Honorable Mention. Garrett Kaiser placed 3rd in the 1-meter diving earning him All State.  10th grader Nico Losinski came from behind the pack to win the 500 free in dramatic fashion. He beat the defending 2019 state champion in the last 150 yards to win the 2020 State 500 free title.  Nico is the youngest Simley Boys' Swimming & Diving Individual State Champion in the program's history.  Congrats to the entire team for a fantastic season.


Congratulations to the Simley wrestling team on winning the Class AA State Wrestling Championship. The Spartans went undefeated on the year 22-0. The Spartans had 11 individuals compete in the state individual tournament. Nolan Wanzek and Travis Dohmen both qualified for state. Simley had nine state place winners:

138 Cael Berg State Champion

170 Gavin Nelson 2nd place

Congratulations to our Simley Red team for being the regular season Conference Champions with a 11-1 record and advancing to the State Tournament this Saturday, March 7th at Park Grove Bowl in St. Paul Park.  Good luck! Congratulations to Ashley VanKempen for making All State.  
Emily Miles, Megan Miles, Brooke O'Brien, Anna Olson, Brooke Salzman and Ashley VanKempen for receiving Varsity All Conference awards. Maddie Clevenger, Amanda Clifton, Brooke Llerandi, Keonna McFarland and Brianna O'Brien, for receiving All Honors. 


All of those interested in Boys’ Tennis, there will be a preseason meeting TOMORROW, march 3rd at 3:30 in the cafeteria. Please make sure to attend this meeting if Tennis in the Spring is something you are interested in!

Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school.This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
