All new teaching and learning has ended. Monday, June 1 & Tuesday, June 2 will be catch-up days. Students will be able to ask any last minute questions of their teachers and turn in any missing assignments. All work must be turned in by the end of the day on June 2. No work will be accepted after this date. Any work turned in by June 2 will not be penalized.

On June 3 - June 4 every student must return all iPads, textbooks, library books & band instruments to IGHMS. We will also handout academic and Phy. Ed. locker contents and summer band instruments if needed.
As of today yearbooks have not been delivered. If they do not arrive in time for June 3 we will notify families in the summer when yearbooks are available for pick up.
Please Note: We still have medication in the nurse's office for some students. Please stop by the nurse’s table to pick up your medication.
Library Books and Textbooks: Please bring any library book and textbooks you may have on June 3 or June 4. We will have a drop off location for these items.
Students should plan to come to school either Wednesday, June 3 or Thursday, June 4. We ask students to come to school based on their assigned time by their last names:
A - B 9:00 a.m.
C - D 9:30 a.m.
E - F 10:00 a.m.
G - H 10:30 a.m.
I - J 11:00 a.m.
K - L 11:30 a.m.
Lunch Break for staff 12:00 - 12:30 p.m.
M - N 12:30 p.m.
O - Q 1:00 p.m.
R - S 1:30 p.m.
T - V 2:00 p.m.
W - Z 2:30 p.m.
Please note:
- Our hope is to have contactless drop off and pick up procedures so we need everyone to follow all instructions when they arrive at school.
- Anyone who comes on to the school campus must maintain the 6 foot social distancing guideline.
- We also ask people to wear masks if possible to minimize the risk of spreading the virus to any school employee or other student.

Secondary Grading Adjustment Trimester 3:
Letter Grade of A, B, or C (includes + and -) with Choice of Pass / No Credit
Students who earn a grade between A and C- will be able to choose whether the school records their letter grade, which will be calculated into their GPA, or records their grade as a Pass (P), which is not calculated into their GPA. If the student would prefer to take a Pass (P) rather than the letter grade earned they must contact their teacher by Thursday, June 4. Teachers will be sending out a form for each student to complete for each class if they want the grade changed to a Pass (P). The form has been put in Schoology and emailed to each student/family. To complete the grade change form a student must be logged into their ISD 199 account. Parents/Guardians do not have access to the form for security purposes.
After June 4, students may still change how they want their grade recorded on their final transcript, but it may not be reflected on the trimester 3 report card. Please note - students must be logged into their ISD199 Google account to complete the form!
Students who have engaged in the work and earned lower than a C- will be marked as earning a Pass (P) and no letter grade will be recorded. A Pass (P) is not calculated into a student’s GPA.
Students who have not communicated or engaged in a class, despite multiple support efforts from staff, will earn a No Credit (NC).
Please know that no student will be retained (held back to repeat the current grade). Even if families want their student retained we will not hold any student back from moving up to the next grade level.
Final trimester report cards will be mailed on June 10. You will also be able to view final grades in the Campus Parent Portal on June 10.

We are so grateful to our amazing staff, students and families as we have all done the best we could during a very difficult situation. We thank you for your continued partnership through Distance Learning. As soon as this school year ends we will be busy making plans for the next school year. While none of us know what education will look like for our students this fall, please know that we are committed to making sure all students are safe and given the best education possible.

Ajuste de calificación secundaria Trimestre 3:

Los maestros enviarán un formulario para que cada estudiante complete para cada clase si desean que se cambie la calificación a un Pase (P). Para completar el formulario de cambio de calificación, un estudiante debe iniciar sesión en su cuenta ISD 199. Los padres / tutores no tienen acceso al formulario por motivos de seguridad.
Después del 4 de junio, los estudiantes aún pueden cambiar la forma en que desean que se registre su calificación en su transcripción final, pero es posible que no se refleje en la boleta de calificaciones del trimestre 3. MEALS FOR KIDS
Any child between the ages of 2-18 can pick up a box of multiple breakfast and lunch meals on Tuesdays and Fridays. Meals will be available for pickup from 11 AM - 1 PM in the front entrance of ISD 199 buildings. An ISD 199 school bus will also be at locations around the district to distribute meals for families who do not live near a school. Visit www.isd199.org/covid19 for locations and approximate times.
The Neighbors, Inc. Food Shelf is also available to any community member who needs food. Call 651-455-5000 between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday. If you are unable to get through when you call, keep trying.
CHILDCARE FOR HEALTHCARE & EMERGENCY WORKERS
As directed by Governor Walz, ISD 199 is providing free childcare for district-enrolled students (ages 4-12) of Tier 1 healthcare and emergency workers. Care is offered at Hilltop Elementary School from 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday. Morning and afternoon bussing is also available. Visit www.isd199.org/covid19 for registration information.
