NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Attention all students, it is very important that you are using and checking your school gmail account on a daily basis. Counselors and teaches are sending important emails to your school email accounts and many students are not checking or using that account. Please set you school gmail account so that you are receiving notifications so that you are aware when you have a new school email that you need to read.

Students, this is a reminder about attendance in Schoology. You must answer the attendance question by 1pm. Group A students do the schoology attendance question Wednesday through Friday and Group B students answer the schoology attendance question Monday through Wednesday. The days you are in school, your teaches are taking your attendance. YOU are doing attendance in Schoology the days you are NOT at school. The deadline to answer the attendance question each day is 1pm. If your schoology page shows a deadline of 2pm, you must update your timezone setting in your schoology account to America/Chicago. If you have an issue with your attendance, you must clear it up with Mrs Offermann in the main office.

Lifetouch picture days are scheduled for the following dates:
Hybrid Group A: October 5 & 6 (8:30 - 3:20)
Hybrid Group B: October 8 & 9 (8:30 - 3:20)
199 Online: October 7 (8:00 - noon)

This Monday, Sep. 28th, the Simley Cross Country team is having a fundraiser at Inver Grove Brewing Company. 10% of all sales, dine-in, online, take-out, and apparel, will be donated to the Cross Country teams. Please come out Monday evening to support! If you have any questions, please contact Coach Gerber.

Attention Volleyball Players. Anyone who is interested in trying out for the 9th grade, B-Squad, Junior Varsity, or Varsity volleyball teams at Simley High School should report to the North Gym at Simley HS on Monday, September 28th at 3:45 PM. The volleyball season will run through October and November with practices and games Monday through Friday. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will be used for team selections and training. Matches will start on October 8th. In order to get your son/daughter registered for Football or Volleyball you need to follow the link below to our new registration site; SmartSchool K12. The link is: SmartSchool K12 Registration Portal. Please complete your registration by Sunday, September 27th.

Tri 1 Study Hall Releases
Study Hall Release forms are available in the main office for all students with a study hall at the beginning or end of their school day.  Study hall releases will not be permitted for students who have a study hall in the middle of their school day.

There is no lunch release this year for any students.  All students must each lunch in their designated areas.

Are you interested in theatre? We will have 2 sessions for the first trimester, one for group A and one for group B. Groups will be meeting on the days you are in-person at school. No need to audition but spots are limited. We will be showcasing your acting/building skills and have two productions of either combined monologue/one act set building/painting/props or costumes. The start date for Group A is Oct 5th for schedule hand out and for Group B is Oct 8th for schedule handout.  Please contact Jim Davis with any questions.

Are you ready to take the ACT? This ACT Prep course will help you do your best.  Class starting at Simley on Sept 21st.

Ready to roll? Don't wait! Register today for Driver’s Education classes starting Sept 28th. The Minnesota Department of Public Safety has approved a variance to State statutes that temporarily allows for teleconference driver’s ed instruction, so these courses will be done online.
