NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

All students must turn in late work by 4-week Progress Reports on Friday, Oct. 9th. After that time, all missing work will turn to a zero and can no longer be turned in.

Lifetouch picture days are scheduled for the following dates:
Hybrid Group A: October 5 & 6 (8:30 - 3:20)
Hybrid Group B: October 8 & 9 (8:30 - 3:20)
199 Online: October 7 (8:00 - noon)

Location for Pick Up: Walsh EA208 -Group A will pick up Tuesday, October 20 during lunch or after school. Group B will pick up Friday, October 23 during lunch or after school. Online students will arrange a time with Walsh On or After Oct. 20th.

Debate is back at Simley this fall! There will be a zoom meeting at 4:00 pm on Monday, October 5. Please email Mr. Dorfner if you are interested in joining. Our first meet will be Saturday, October 24th!

Student Parking: The parking permits for trimester 1 are now available through SmartSchoolsK12 in your Parent Portal. Go to Simley High School and choose the parking option. From there, you can fill out the parking permit application and pay for the permit. Please remember students are only permitted to park in the Student Lot, unless otherwise assigned. 

Hear ye! Hear ye! Theatre Starts 2nd Week Of October, 9th - 12th grade. There will be 2 groups: an A group and a B group. Limit size for each group is 20. Group A will meet Oct 5th @ 3:45 pm in the PAC and group B will meet on Oct 7th @ 3:45 pm in the PAC. If you have any questions please contact Jim Davis @ [email protected].

Attention all students, it is very important that you are using and checking your school gmail account on a daily basis. Counselors and teaches are sending important emails to your school email accounts and many students are not checking or using that account. Please set you school gmail account so that you are receiving notifications so that you are aware when you have a new school email that you need to read. 

Students, this is a reminder about attendance in Schoology. You must answer the attendance question by 1pm. Group A students do the schoology attendance question Wednesday through Friday and Group B students answer the schoology attendance question Monday through Wednesday. The days you are in school, your teaches are taking your attendance. YOU are doing attendance in Schoology the days you are NOT at school. The deadline to answer the attendance question each day is 1pm. If your schoology page shows a deadline of 2pm, you must update your timezone setting in your schoology account to America/Chicago. If you have an issue with your attendance, you must clear it up with Mrs Offermann in the main office. 

Tri 1 Study Hall Releases
Study Hall Release forms are available in the main office for all students with a study hall at the beginning or end of their school day.  Study hall releases will not be permitted for students who have a study hall in the middle of their school day.

There is no lunch release this year for any students.  All students must each lunch in their designated areas.

Ready to roll? Don't wait! Register today for Driver’s Education classes starting Sept 28th. The Minnesota Department of Public Safety has approved a variance to State statutes that temporarily allows for teleconference driver’s ed instruction, so these courses will be done online.
