Inver Grove Heights Middle School Announcements

Every family is encouraged to apply for Educational Benefits this school year to help their school and get discounts on:

  • school device insurance and activity fees
  • YMCA memberships
  • zoo and museum admissions
  • internet, phone, and electric services

Every application also helps our school receive essential funding to maintain smaller class sizes and provide support for students. Apply through Infinite Campus (click “More” and then “Meal Benefits) or visit www.isd199.org/edu-benefits.

Dakota County Library now offers Wi-Fi hotspots and Chromebooks to provide free internet access at home or on the go.

 

To check one out, individuals can visit our catalog to place a hold on a Wi-Fi hotspot or Wi-Fi hotspot and Chromebook kit. They can also drop by any of our library locations to pick one up while supplies are available. Each can be checked out for 6 weeks. Individuals will need a Dakota County Library Card to reserve and check one out — registering for a library card can be easily completed in-person or online.

 

To use a Wi-Fi hotspot, individuals will use their own phone, tablet, laptop or other device to connect to a hotspot and access the internet. Or, they can check out both a Wi-Fi hotspot and Chromebook and use the Chromebook to connect to the hotspot.

 

The library is seeking to connect these Wi-Fi hotspots and Chromebooks with those who lack essential internet access.

Simley Golf - Fundraiser at Jerseys Bar & Grill - Tuesday Nov 10th

Join us at Jersey's Bar & Grill for a fundraiser to support the Simley Girls and Boys Golf Program.  Jersey's is one of our local businesses and will donate 25% of sales back to the Simley Golf Program.  Tuesday, November 10th, 4-9pm, dine in or take out, this flyer needs to be presented.

School Picture Make-up/ Retake Days

Our Middle School PTSA has a new fundraiser that is easy to access and donates a percentage of your purchase from the stores you shop at every day.

  • Download the My HuTerra Rewards on your smart phone
  • Sign up
  • Go to the home page of the app, Tap My Fundraisers, Tap Add Fundraiser
  • Search Inver Grove Heights Middle PTSA
  • Scan receipts every time you purchase at places like Walmart, Sam’s Club and Target
