Inver Grove Heights Middle School Announcements
Tuesday, April 13
IGHMS and Simley students enrolled in Hybrid Learning are scheduled to transition to four days of in-person learning per week, starting April 26. To prepare for the transition, classes are scheduled to dismiss at 12:30 PM April 19-23 and IGHMS and Simley will not have school on April 21 and April 28. Know the Truth ™ Prevention Program, Ramsey County OPUS Coalition, and Canvas Health have partnered to host a FREE live webinar series. The goal of these events is to provide teachers, school staff, parents and community members with techniques that will re-inspire their students, to promote healthier behaviors and attitudes. The webinars will address how to recognize specific behaviors related to substance use and mental health, new drug trends, tips for helping students quit using, how to motivate teens who are disengaged, and ways to intervene in difficult situations.
