Inver Grove Heights Middle School Announcements

Tuesday, May 11

The award winning Simley Marching Band wants you!

If you are going to be a 7th grade student or older next school year, join us this Summer and Fall for the 2021 season as we hit the streets again.  Even if you don't play an instrument you can still be involved in marching band with our awesome color guard.  The high school bands plus the Simley Marching Band are looking at taking a tour to Chicago in the Spring of 2022.

Here is a link to some commonly asked questions about the Simley Marching Band as well as information about our staff for the upcoming season - Commonly asked marching band questions.  Also, linked here is our rehearsal and parade schedule.  Please note that drumline has four days of captains practice the week after school ends.  If you have further questions, please contact Mr. Robinson at [email protected].  We hope to see you this summer.

Click here if your child is possibly interested in participating in Marching Band or Color Guard.  This way, we can keep you informed.

Inver Grove Heights Schools is asking all of its families to complete the 199 Online Interest Survey. Information from the survey and from the state will help inform the district’s ability to provide 199 Online for next school year (2021-2022). CLICK HERE FOR THE 199 ONLINE INTEREST SURVEY.

The survey takes 1-2 minutes and will close on Thursday, May 13. 199 Online is not a guaranteed option for next school year, but results from this survey will help the district understand how many families would enroll if the option is available next school year.
