On a beautiful September afternoon, the Simley Cross Country took home 3 individual titles at the Metro East Conference Preview Meet at St. Croix Bluffs. The day began well as 7th grader Aiden Fischbach outkicked teammate Dylan Pease to go 1-2 in the Middle School 2k race. 8th grader Ella Costello was the first female finisher in the field. In High School 5k races, Kaiden Schrandt led the boys with a 7th overall finish and his first career Sub-18 minute 5k. Jacob Scheffer finished 19th and the Spartan pack of JJ Hernandez, Hunter Aamot, Blake Stinnett, Tyler Ngo, and Caleb Streich finished within 18 seconds  of each other to have the team finish 5th, solidly in the middle of the 9-team field. Megan Gullerud won the girls race, with captain Crystal Bonilla Rios finishing 23rd, while a young cast of Kristi Maupin, Alice Islam, Zaida Bonilla Rios, Emily LaForte, and Zoe Diaz helped the girls finish 6th. Gullerud’s winning time of 20:26 makes her the 3rd fastest runner in school history.

In order to get your son/daughter registered for sports you need to follow the link below to our new registration site; SmartSchool K12. When you arrive at the home site of the user portal, you will see guides available that will walk you through the registration process and setting up your parent portal, step by step.

When you are connecting your student to your parent account, you will need the STUDENT ID and their DATE OF BIRTH. You WILL NOT use a family key.

Once you are registered and you have added your student to your account, please make sure to go into your settings and add a "Funding Source". This will allow you to complete your purchases upon checkout. Do not auto-fill this section as it will not work due to security reasons.

Earlier this year we had a lot of issues with different browsers when families were registering. Please attempt to use FireFox, as it is the most successful.

Do not hesitate to contact the activities office if you have any questions. 651-306-7001
