New Announcements:

Homecoming dress up days are as follows: - Monday is Class Colors Day (freshmen wear white, sophomores wear red, juniors wear blue, seniors wear black, staff wears tie dye) - Tuesday is Jersey Day - Wednesday is College Apparel Day - Thursday is Throwback Thursday (dress in any decade) - Friday is Spartan Spirit Day 

The Homecoming dance will be held on Saturday 9/25 outside on the turf from 7-9pm.  Tickets are $5 and will be on sale in the cafeteria during all lunches starting next Wednesday 9/22.  
We will be having a club fair during all three lunches next week. Come prepared to learn about the amazing clubs we offer at Simley including GSA, Math League, Yearbook, International Club, German Club, Spanish Club, Theatre, NHS, and Student Council. It's a great way to get involved in your Simley community and build your college applications. 

If you still need to pick up your Lifetouch pictures, ID, lunch tag and/or planner, stop by to see Ms. Brown in the AP's office next to the nurse.

Picture Make-Up Day is next Tuesday, September 21st in the morning. This is if you did not take your picture on August 24th. 

Senior Panoramic has been cancelled for Sept. 23 and is currently being rescheduled. Please stay tuned for the rescheduled date.

Marching Band News: 

Eat out to support the IGH Bands!  

When: Monday, September 27, 3:00 - 10:00 PM

Where: IGH Brewing, 9051 Buchanan Trail, IGH, MN 55076

What:  IGH Brewing will give 10% of all sales (except giftcards) between 3:00 - 10:00 PM to the bands.  No flyer necessary!  Tell your friends and family!  You can eat in person, order online or purchase merchandise - it all counts toward the 10%.  To check out the IGH Brewery menu, online ordering, etc., visit igbrewing.com

Simley Girls Swim & Dive Team - Monday, September 20

Show your Homecoming Spirit and grab a quick meal by joining us for a fundraiser to support the Simley Girls Swim & Dive Team.  Dine in or order online for pickup, and 33% of proceeds will be donated to the Girls Swim & Dive Team.  

Come to the Chipotle at 1857 Robert St. S in West St. Paul on Monday, September 20 between 4:00pm and 8:00pm.  Bring in this flyer, show it on your smartphone or tell the cashier you're supporting the cause.  If ordering online use code before checkout 29G9Q8C in "promo" field.  Thank You for your support!

Football Fans: If you are planning on attending the game this Friday at Hastings you MUST purchase a ticket online.  NO CASH is accepted for admission.   Fans can purchase tickets online in advance at THIS LINK (preferred) or use a card at the door.  We also have that same link on rschools if they visit the schedule page.

If you ordered a 2020-2021 Yearbook, but have not yet received it, please stop by Ms. Hensch's room to get it. Also, there are still 2020-2021 Yearbooks available for purchase. Contact Ms. Hensch if you are interested.

Athletic Awards

If you participated in a spring sport last spring and did not receive your award or certificate please stop by the activities office.

Repeat Announcements:

Lunch release is not being offered this year.  All students must remain in the building during their lunches.

Study Hall Release is available to all students who have study halls 1st or 7th hours.  Study hall releases will not be granted for study halls in the middle of the school day.  Release forms are available in the Guidance Office or the Main Office.

In order to get your son/daughter registered for sports you need to follow the link below to our new registration site; SmartSchool K12. When you arrive at the home site of the user portal, you will see guides available that will walk you through the registration process and setting up your parent portal, step by step.

When you are connecting your student to your parent account, you will need the STUDENT ID and their DATE OF BIRTH. You WILL NOT use a family key. 

Once you are registered and you have added your student to your account, please make sure to go into your settings and add a "Funding Source". This will allow you to complete your purchases upon checkout. Do not auto-fill this section as it will not work due to security reasons.

Earlier this year we had a lot of issues with different browsers when families were registering. Please attempt to use FireFox, as it is the most successful.
