New Announcements:

Homecoming dress up days are as follows: - Friday is Spartan Spirit Day 

The Homecoming dance will be held on Saturday 9/25 outside on the turf from 7-9pm.  Tickets are $5 and will be on sale in the cafeteria during all lunches starting next Wednesday 9/22.  Tickets will be $10 at the door.

Celebrate Homecoming week and cheer on your 2 favorite high school soccer teams this Thursday!

Boys at 5, Girls at 7 – both versus Mahtomedi!

All Simley students get in FREE!
If you are planning on attending the volleyball matches vs. Two Rivers this Thursday, please make sure you wear your mask as ISD197 requires masks at all events. Ticket sales for the matches will be cash only so plan accordingly.
If you turned in your tech agreement but were waiting on more devices being available, come down to the IMC to receive your device.

Bus Drivers Needed!

ISD 199 is looking for more bus drivers and bus driver subs! Before and after school shifts are available, 4 hours per day are guaranteed, up to $23.25 per hour plus paid training, and full benefits at 25 hours per week. Learn more and apply at www.isd199.org/careers.

Students who signed up for Everymeal, please come to WA 200 (Ms. Holt's office) to pick up your bag anytime before school, immediately after school, and during the day on Friday.  If you're not sure if you signed up, or have a question about your bag, please see Ms. Holt before Friday.  Bring your phone signed into your school account so you can QR code that you picked up your bag. 

Fall registration for both middle and high school sports is closed. Registration for winter sports and activities will open up in early October.

Theatre, NHS, and the Students of Color group will have representatives at the Club Fair today. If you're interested in any of these clubs, visit their table at lunch.  

  

Marching Band News: 

Eat out to support the IGH Bands!  

When: Monday, September 27, 3:00 - 10:00 PM

Where: IGH Brewing, 9051 Buchanan Trail, IGH, MN 55076

What:  IGH Brewing will give 10% of all sales (except giftcards) between 3:00 - 10:00 PM to the bands.  No flyer necessary!  Tell your friends and family!  You can eat in person, order online or purchase merchandise - it all counts toward the 10%.  To check out the IGH Brewery menu, online ordering, etc., visit igbrewing.com

Repeat Announcements:

Lunch release is not being offered this year.  All students must remain in the building during their lunches.

Study Hall Release is available to all students who have study halls 1st or 7th hours.  Study hall releases will not be granted for study halls in the middle of the school day.  Release forms are available in the Guidance Office or the Main Office.

In order to get your son/daughter registered for sports you need to follow the link below to our new registration site; SmartSchool K12. When you arrive at the home site of the user portal, you will see guides available that will walk you through the registration process and setting up your parent portal, step by step.

When you are connecting your student to your parent account, you will need the STUDENT ID and their DATE OF BIRTH. You WILL NOT use a family key. 

Once you are registered and you have added your student to your account, please make sure to go into your settings and add a "Funding Source". This will allow you to complete your purchases upon checkout. Do not auto-fill this section as it will not work due to security reasons.

Earlier this year we had a lot of issues with different browsers when families were registering. Please attempt to use FireFox, as it is the most successful.
