PTSA Meeting / Reunión de PTSA
The Inver Grove Heights Middle School Parent Teacher Student Association will have our next meeting on Tuesday, December 7th at 6:30 in the IMC (Library). We will be following school Covid-19 protocol, so please bring a mask and plan for social distancing.
La Asociación de Padres, Maestros y Estudiantes de la Escuela Intermedia Inver Grove Heights tendrá nuestra próxima reunión el martes 7 de diciembre a las 6:30 en la IMC (Biblioteca). PTSA Fundraiser / Recaudación de fondos de la PTSA
The IGHMS PTSA will hold it's next fundraising event on 12/11/21. Come to Hometown Meats Smokehouse & Deli for your meat and deli needs! Hometown Meats will be generously donating 10% of all sales that day to IGHMS PTSA to help us support our teachers and students.

Good luck to the Simley Varsity HS Bowling team! They will be bowling in the State Tournament on Saturday, December 4th at Drkula's. The team consists of Zach Howe, Stephen Marsolais, Brianna O'Brien, Brooke O'Brien, David Olson, Brooke Salzman, and Ian Sumner. Good Luck!

School picture retakes and sports team pictures have been received at the office and will be distributed to students. Please ask your student to stop in if they have not received them.

Middle School students are not allowed to stay after school and wander the hallways. Middle School students are only allowed to be in the building after school if they are on an IGHMS or Simley High School athletic team. Students who want to attend an event after school in either building must be accompanied by an adult.

IGHMS Music T-Shirt Fundraiser
This year the music department at IGHMS is purchasing t-shirts for all band and choir students to wear at concerts. Students will be asked to wear the t-shirt with jeans to each concert this year and in future years if they remain in band or choir.
The middle school is paying $5 per t-shirt and each student will be given a t-shirt regardless if a donation is possible. We are hoping any donations we receive will help offset our costs. IMPORTANT: Parents/Guardians: We know that sometimes it’s necessary for you to come to school to pick up your student during the school day. Please send a note with your student in the morning if you can. Your student should come to the main office in the morning with the note to get a pass. If you need to contact us during the day to let us know about picking up your student- please try to call at least 1 hour before you need the student to be excused. Attendance Line is 651-306-7878
We try to limit interruptions to class and following these suggestions can keep interruptions to learning to a minimum and get your student to the office more efficiently.
IMPORTANTE: Padres / Tutores: Sabemos que a veces es necesario que vengan a la escuela a recoger a su estudiante durante el día escolar. All middle school students must be accompanied by an adult to sports events. Any student not accompanied by an adult will be turned away at the door.
